Somewhere along the way we learned that that we need to be exhausted, overwhelmed or falling apart before we're "allowed" to slow down. That's not true and it's not sustainable either.

Rest now, not just when your body forces you to. 🤍

Give yourself permission to just be.

Not all manual therapies have the same objective and the distinction matters more than most people realize.

When I say 'regular massage', I mean Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy techniques that primarily work the muscular and connective tissue systems. However there are certain health conditions where these techniques may be contraindicated, meaning they cannot be applied to specific areas of the body or may require a therapist who specializes in manual lymphatic drainage instead.

This is because massage therapy and manual lymphatic drainage work with two entirely different systems.
