🌱 From a Heart That Wanted to Help to a Business That Helps Others Every Day — If You Had Told Me Years Ago I'd Be Here, I Never Would Have Believed You. 💜

Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the Alzheimer Society Walk as a vendor representing PSW To The Rescue.

As I connected with families and caregivers, I reflected on my journey. I started as a PSW with a heart to help others. Never did I imagine that one day I would own a business and be able to support families in this way.

The walk was a beautiful reminder that no one is alone. Seeing our community come together to support those affected by Alzheimer's and dementia was truly inspiring.

Grateful for the conversations, the connections, and the opportunity to do what I love every day. 💚

Community — Can We Help a Local Author? 📚✨

I'd love to introduce you to Kara Peseski-Morel, a local children's author and educator who recently hosted a wonderful book reading at Kumon for her book I Talk With My Hands.

Kara has spent more than 30 years working with children with special needs and learning disabilities and has a passion for helping children learn and communicate. Her book was inspired by her love of sign language and creating inclusive learning experiences for young readers.

She would love to continue doing book readings and author visits throughout our community.
