Their reaction to this tattoo says it all. Watch to the end.

Austin’s fiancée and her sister came into the studio with one goal, matching tattoos to honour someone they love. The concept was a sacred heart woven with symbols of grief, love, and remembrance.
ttt took that vision and executed it flawlessly. Truly one of those pieces where the meaning and the craft meet perfectly.

Getting to witness our own family experience this in our studio, genuinely one of those moments we don’t take for granted.

Client spent $6,000 on his first tattoo.

A full custom outer sleeve completed over 3 consecutive days.

For Kirk’s first tattoo, the concept was anything but standard combining Greek mythology and Japanese realism into one cohesive black and grey sleeve.

A Zeus statue.
A Japanese-style dragon.
One custom composition designed around his vision.

When a project is this large, every part of the design has to work together.

The flow.
The contrast.
The placement.
The story.

This is what happens when a first tattoo is planned with intention from the beginning.

Designed and completed at Zen Tattoo Studio.

The problem with most Greek mythology tattoos?

Everyone’s using the same images.

For this project, the client wanted a Zeus tattoo that felt powerful, personal, and different from the common references seen all over Pinterest.

So Luis created a custom Zeus sculpture specifically for the piece.

Built for the placement.
Designed for the client.
Composed to flow with the outside of the calf.

This is the standard at Zen Tattoo Studio.

Whether it’s Greek mythology, realism, portraits, or large-scale black and grey the goal is never to give someone a version of what already exists.

It’s to take the idea and create something personal, intentional, and unique to them.

He thought his back tattoos might be impossible to cover.

Tyron came to Zen with two large, dark, bold tattoos on either side of his back the kind of cover-up most clients don’t know how to approach.

Do you laser first?
Is a cover-up even possible?
Can it still become a high-quality piece of art?

That’s where the right artist matters.

For this project, Igor created a full custom back piece designed around the challenge incorporating a tiger and cathedral window into one cohesive black and grey composition.

Completed over 4 consecutive days.

The goal wasn’t just to hide the old tattoos.

It was to give Tyron a completely new back piece that looked intentional, powerful, and seamless from the beginning.

Cover-ups require more than just going darker.

They require vision.
Placement.
Contrast.
Composition.
And an artist who knows how to turn the old work into something completely new.

She spent over $100,000 on tattoos.

Ashley’s goal was clear to complete her full bodysuit by 30.

Over the years, her collection has been built by different artists across the industry, each piece becoming part of a much bigger journey.

At Zen, Igor completed some of the most demanding areas of the suit:

Stomach panel.
Both rib cages.
Both armpits.
Neck and throat.

This is more than a tattoo tour.

It’s a look at what serious collecting really takes.

He drove from the U.S. for this tattoo.
Not because it was convenient.

Because he found an artist who understood how to tattoo melaninated skin properly.

After seeing speak on the importance of contrast, scale, negative space, and long-term readability, he knew this was the right fit.

Melaninated skin requires a different approach.

The design has to be built with intention using larger elements, cleaner spacing, and a composition that will hold clearly over time.

That’s one of the areas Devon specializes in.

At Zen Tattoo Studio, every project starts with the same standard:

Understand the client.
Respect the skin.
Build the design properly.
