We’re excited to be part of the Bronte Chair Project again this year 🪑🎨!

We picked up our chair kit from the Bronte BIA last week and can’t wait to get started on building and painting it with our group.

While we were out, we also stopped in to meet the team at FORT Coatings, a new business in the community. It was great connecting with them and we’re looking forward to coming back for all our paint needs for this project. Welcome to Bronte!

Opportunities like this are what we love: getting out in the community, building connections, and creating something our participants can be proud of 💙

We have some new members!

Meet Ruby, Luke Skywalker, Barney, Salad Fingers, Eric and Elsa 🎉

They’ll be with us in our program as we learn the ins and outs of caring for baby chicks until they get too big (and stinky lol).

Connecting with the world, one postcard at a time 🌍💌

Our members have been exploring different cultures and countries through a mail exchange program, and now they’re bringing their creativity to life!

Using our Cricut machine, they’re designing and making their very own personalized postcards to send across the globe.

From learning about new places to sharing a piece of themselves, this experience is all about connection, creativity, and curiosity.

We can’t wait to see where our postcards travel next ✈️✨

Mind, body and soul baby 😎!

We started our morning with a discussion from local doctor and physiotherapist discussing health and wellness and then ended it off with a group walk and talk.

Exercising our brains, muscles and social skills - it doesn’t get much better than that 😉🤸🏽‍♀️.

This crew was tasked with doing some grocery shopping and throwing in some transit practice seemed like a no brainer!

It was a perfect balance of taking care of business and having a good time with pals 😎

Research shows that music and movement support emotional well-being, social connection, and self-expression - and this session was a beautiful example of that in real life.

From confidence on the dance floor to shared laughter and rhythm, moments like these show how powerful music and movement can be 💛💃🕺
