Member highlight: meet Evan!

Evan is smart, kind, courageous and ALWAYS keeps us laughing.

Whether we’re dancing, singing, reading or exercising Evan is always there to bring the energy or lend a helping hand.

He’s a track and field Olympian, a great friend and one of the coolest dudes we know 😎.

No script, no setup: just a couch, a few voices, and a lot of laughs. 🎙️

In honour of National Radio Day, members wanted to learn about podcasts… which somehow turned into a debate about who stole whose lunch (👀 looking at you, Danielle).

The best kind of social learning? The kind that just happens.

No lunches were harmed in the making of this podcast

We love seeing Adults in Motion out in the community in unexpected ways ❤️

Our chair, created as part of the Bronte Chair Project, has been featured in Bronte’s Look Local Guide!

Being included in local projects like this means a lot to us. It’s another opportunity for our members to contribute, get creative, and be seen as an active part of the community.

We’re pretty proud to see our chair getting a little local love! Take a peek at some of the behind the scenes photos!

The biggest plot twist? They were capable all along. ✨

Sometimes the only thing standing in the way is someone else’s assumption.

Jon to the rescue 🦸🏻‍♂️

We showed up to the splash pad and the tipping bucket (arguably the best part) was jammed with a soccer ball.

Enter Jon - quick thinking, a long stick, and a crowd of very invested cheerleaders.

Around here, we don’t let little hurdles stop the fun… we find a way, every time 😎

Pea picking for a reason 🌱

Research shows that spending time in green spaces can lower stress and improve mood in as little as 10-20 minutes. Add in a hands-on activity like picking fresh produce, and you’ve got a pretty solid recipe for focus, calm, and feel-good energy 😎

Today’s crew put that into practice-fresh air, busy hands, and a lot fewer peas in the field by the end of it 😄

We’re excited to be part of the Bronte Chair Project again this year 🪑🎨!

We picked up our chair kit from the Bronte BIA last week and can’t wait to get started on building and painting it with our group.

While we were out, we also stopped in to meet the team at FORT Coatings, a new business in the community. It was great connecting with them and we’re looking forward to coming back for all our paint needs for this project. Welcome to Bronte!

Opportunities like this are what we love: getting out in the community, building connections, and creating something our participants can be proud of 💙

Stay tuned to see what we come up with!

We have some new members!

Meet Ruby, Luke Skywalker, Barney, Salad Fingers, Eric and Elsa 🎉

They’ll be with us in our program as we learn the ins and outs of caring for baby chicks until they get too big (and stinky lol).

Stay tuned to our stories to watch them grow!
