Being an aunt is a role I choose with intention and is my most precious one to date. ♥️

Five years ago, I packed up my life in Prince George, BC, and moved across the country. First to Toronto, and eventually to Prince Edward County. One of the biggest reasons was to be closer to my sister and to become an active aunt to my nephew.

There’s something spiritual about my role as an aunt. Being someone he can count on and ask any question to. Watching him grow into whoever he’s meant to be and assist him in that journey. ✨

Some roles aren’t obligations but they’re callings. For me, being an aunt has been one of the most meaningful and spiritual roles of my life.

These pictures remind me that joy isn’t something we earn. It’s something we choose to make room for along the way. Between busy moments, grief and constant change.

Your reminder to take 10 minutes today 🌞

I’ve noticed clients spend so much time trying to “fix” themselves that they forget we can also heal through small moments of quiet throughout the day. Summer is the perfect time to just sit and be… even if it’s for a short amount of time.

•Take 5-10 minutes to enjoy nature today
•Take 10 minutes to journal
•Set a timer for 5 minutes and just breathe and focus on your breath

My parents celebrated 46 years of marriage today! 🤍

When I asked my father what made them last he said because they continue to show up for one another through seasons of joy, challenge, change, and growth. My mother spoke of the importance of joy, laughter and the simplicity of enjoying each other’s company.

Love isn’t only received from others but from ourselves. It’s something we practice through gratitude, compassion, forgiveness, and care.

As I’ve been preparing for my upcoming Heart Chakra Opening Sessions at in Picton, I’ve been thinking about the many ways we nurture our hearts, not just in romantic relationships, but with family, friends, community, and ourselves. It’s summer love in Prince Edward County!
