Every day I have to reset, refocus, and re-evaluate.
I look at what didn't work yesterday so I don't repeat it today.
And yes, there are days that are less than favorable. Days when I catch myself slipping into victimhood, feeling sorry for myself, dwelling on things I can't change.
The difference now is that I have the tools and the connections to redirect those thoughts and find my way back to peace.
My top 10 things for a peaceful and positive life, especially when I don't feel peaceful and positive:
1.Sleep.
2.Eat whole foods. (These are not the days for "dirty" food.)
3.Work out. (Non-negotiable)
4.Surround myself with people who value what I value.
5.Stay open to advice from the people who love me but won't tolerate my bu****it.
6.Walk.
7.Create.
8.Clean.
9.Connect with Creator, my ancestors, my guides. Sometimes all three.
10.Let it go. The hardest one of all. Shake it off and move the f**k on.
Peace isn't something I find once and keep forever.
It's something I choose, practice, and fight for every single day.
