Humble Hummus is a small operation based and primarily sold out of Red Deer, Alberta. We make fresh, delicious hummus that is available year-round in a variety of flavours. The history of hummus is extensive and so are the health benefits! Chickpeas is the base of almost all of our recipes and they're are a great source of plant-based protein and fibre as well as iron, phosphorus, folate and many

more key nutrients. With a Glycemic Index of 28, chickpeas are a great low GI food. We also use Tahini in many of our recipes which is full of healthy fats, minerals and vitamins. Hummus is one of the world's oldest foods. it's a healthy treat that can be used as a dip, spread for a wrap, pita or sandwich, as an ingredient or as a side with your meals. Hummus is great for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Dessert, so there's sure to be a flavour to add to your meal. You can taste the difference with Humble Hummus.

Hey friends! Bad news: I will not be at the market this week 😢 The master chef is on a cruise and I couldn’t get a replacement or time off my daily job to be able to make hummus for all of you, BUT we will be back in action next week!!

This weeks flavours brought to you by customer request!!! Had lots of feedback from the masses last week and we do try to listen. But I think someone made a mistake because we are short on Sweet Chili Lime and have extra Coconut Curry 😳 Shift your schedule accordingly as I will only be there to start the market so the complaint department will be gone by 9:30!

Hard to believe that we are already halfway through this market season and I still haven’t seen some familiar faces! I will be taking one Saturday off on the 22nd of August so be sure to stock up in the coming weeks!! Saturday should be another hot one so I look forward to seeing all your smiling faces around the market.

Last weekend in June and it looks like we are going to get lucky again with weather!! Even if we get a few drops, the large storm doesn’t roll in until the afternoon so come down and see us along with all the other vendors.
