I am so excited to share that I am relocating to Northern Alberta to pursue new opportunities and share in new adventures!

While settling, services will be on hold, but I look forward to welcoming new friends to my work in the spring!

The bustle begins! Remember to take time for yourself!

I wanted to offer a way to support people in tapping into self-care during the time in which we often over-extend ourselves with holiday festivities in contrast to our biological drives to retreat and rest during the deepening winter season.

Join me for a special in-person offering for an opportunity to tap into the space of manifestation and put forward the intentions to bring into the new year. This session will focus on connecting to the energy of orchestrating your life through conscious manifestation.

We will start with a specific drumming pattern to induce intuitive connection and pull forward your intention, then we will move into problem solving rhythms. I will then guide you through breathwork to clear physically stored resistances to your intention, and then we will go into the meditative practice of yoga Nidra.

What do you get out of it?
If it’s your first time, you will likely experience deep relaxation as you drop into the yogic sleep state. In this state you are hovering between sleep and wakefulness. It’s the perfect place to start exploring the practice of yoga nidra and planting seeds into the subconscious in this extended session and also benefit from deep state of relaxation.

If you’ve been practicing yoga Nidra, or meditation in general, you’ll drop quickly into theta and be able to connect to manifestation energies and intention setting to help call into action what you want for the new year.

Even our roots are called to rest sometimes.

With the cues to retreat and rest in these winter months, I've had a number of people speak to the parts of themselves in conflict with this natural calling. It's the season of festivities and celebrations, busyness and parties. They must put on face and go!

Just like the trees, You aren't build to produce all year long.

I offer this gentle reminder: you are not required to prove yourself to anyone. To truly be able to celebrate and share time, you have to have the capacity to be present to hold that experience.
I invite you to rest.
To sit and breathe in a moment of non-doing.
Soak up and lean into the foundation of your hard work.
You will still be loved if you take a night off.
You are still valued if you decline a party.
You are allowed to leave the laundry and snuggle your littles for 5 more minutes.

I’m so excited for Sunday to see some of your faces and share in the energy we will be creating during the Cacao Kotzji’.

I’ll be incorporating some mayan teachings into ceremony from the work I’ve been doing with Ka’kaw Chinimital, a traditional farm in Guatemala that survived the Spanish conquest of the Maya, a farming collective that was able to maintain the symbiosis of the land and the Mayan cosmo vision in their cacao tree orchards. I’m so honoured to share these lessons during ceremony!!!

Curious about Cacao Kotzji’?
Well you can listen to me ramble on a bit here!

Things to consider when choosing to attend a ceremony:
-Time of day ceremony takes place. There is a stimulant effect and some people may find it will keep them up if taken later in the day or evening.
-Appropriate screening for medical and medication contraindications. Ceremonial cacao is jam packed with minerals and vitamins, and produce a number of different neurochemical effects (which is why it is called the drink of the gods). It is safe for most but may require adaptations to the dosage depending on your needs. No ceremonialist should ever just offer a full dose of ceremonial cacao to everyone.
-Procurement of cacao paste. Where is it from?Are there sustainable farming and production processes? Traditional practices are essential to the effectiveness of this plant medicine.
-Preparation of cacao paste. There is variation in preparation of cacao for ceremony, but there are definitely some basics that go all the way back to traditional mesoamerican roots. These should be openly discussed by your ceremonialist.

Whatever it is that you do, taking care of yourself isn’t a one and done massage (or even reiki session), it’s a consistent and conscious effort to make sure you have the ability and capacity to show up, for yourself,so you can show up for those you love.

Sometimes it’s hard work. And kinda scary. And that’s the commitment to yourself, to keep doing the work!
