In a world that constantly pushes more, more, more… there’s something beautiful about choosing simplicity. 🤍

Everyone talks about quitting their 9-5 to pursue their dream… but nobody talks about how your 40 hour work week somehow turns into 140 hours when it’s your business. 😂

You become the maker, the marketer, the photographer, the accountant, the social media manager, the shipping department, customer service, and somehow still expected to sleep and drink water.

But there’s something different about working for yourself. The late nights feel different when you’re building something for your family, your future, and a dream that once lived only in your head.

It’s exhausting.
It’s messy.
It’s scary.

But it’s also the most rewarding thing to watch something you created with your own two hands grow little by little.

Running a small business means there’s always something to do.. orders to fill, products to make, messages to answer, markets to prep for… the list never really ends.

But here’s the thing I’m learning (slowly 😅)…
If I don’t slow down, I don’t get to share any of it.

The quiet moments, pouring oils, blending herbs, labeling jars, the little behind-the-scenes magic.. that’s the heart of it all. And that deserves to be seen too.

So today I’m reminding myself that even when it's a lot:
Slow down. Capture it. Be present in it. Even if it means making funny videos.

Because this business isn’t just about the hustle…

The little kid me would be so proud.

Proud that I didn’t give up when things felt uncertain.
