Thank you for helping children and youth across Niagara! 👏

In 2022, , Kiwanis St. Catharines made a remarkable $125,000 commitment to support recreation therapy programs at Niagara Children's Centre. Recently, we welcomed Jack McKiernan back to our Glenridge facility to share how their generosity is making a difference in the lives of local children and youth.

What an unforgettable night! 🎶

After two months of practice, 17 talented performers from Niagara Children's Centre joined 87 members of Momentum Choir on stage for a powerful and inspiring performance of This is Me.

Together, they shared a message of resilience, inclusion and belonging through music, reminding a sold-out audience of more than 800 people that when voices come together, something bigger than music happens.

Thank you to Momentum Choir, as well as the families, volunteers and community members who filled the theatre with support and applause.

We couldn't be prouder of these incredible performers!

Kids raise more than $20,000 for their peers! 📢

Each year, Niagara Catholic District School Board’s Kids Helping Kids fundraiser brings their schools together through spirit-building activities like wacky hair days, jersey days, and other themed events, where students donate to participate. Funds raised support both Niagara Children’s Centre and the Niagara Foundation for Catholic Education, recognizing the important role each organization plays in strengthening our community.

This year’s campaign raised an incredible $20,397.80 for the Children’s Centre!

We’re so proud of the students, families, and staff whose generosity made this possible. Your support will help children and youth across Niagara access the programs and services they need to thrive. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of local kids.

Today, we welcomed more than 50 families to Heartland Forest in Niagara Falls for a morning in the great outdoors. The P.D. Day activity provided the perfect opportunity to hike along their accessible trails, enjoy nature, explore their fun activities, and connect with other families.

Our team showed up RED-y for their close-up ❤️📸

Red Shirt Day is a day of action for access, inclusion, and disability awareness, recognized each Wednesday during National AccessAbility Week. Wearing red is a simple but powerful way to show solidarity with persons with disabilities and the families who support them.

It’s also a reminder that inclusion is built through everyday actions—listening, learning, and ensuring people of all abilities are valued and supported in every part of community life.
