Proper medication disposal helps protect our environment. Return unused or expired medications to your pharmacy for safe disposal by following these steps:

•Take all unused/expired pills out of their pill bottles/blister packs and put them into a sealed plastic bag.

•Keep inhalers and liquids in their original containers and place them in a separate bag.

•Scratch out all personal information on prescription labels.

•Dispose of empty bottles/blister packs in your home garbage/recycle.

•Take all bags of unused/expired pills, liquid medicine, and inhalers to your pharmacy for safe disposal.
