One Branch Therapeutic Wellness is welcoming a new RMT to the Sechelt location! Julia comes to us from Vancouver Island where she has been practicing for over a decade. She will be available Monday thru Thursday from 1:15pm - 7:30 pm as well as every other Sunday. Read about her here:
My philosophy is to allow the body to release stress on the level from which it came so that chronic pain and muscular holding patterns can be reversed. This is achieved with reeducation of the muscles through a combination of clients’ engagement in deeper states of relaxation, postural awareness, and homecare exercises. A variety of techniques of varying pressure depths are used to achieve the set goals for the treatment session. A treatment may typically include the integration and use of hot stones, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and use of stretching techniques while on the massage table.
Additional areas of training include Muscle Energy Technique, Reflexology as well as Hot Stone Therapy. Being in practice for twelve years, I have experience treating and improving a great variety of conditions. I am dedicated to working with my patients to provide education, and encouragement with their involvement in the treatment process. I look forward to helping my clients achieve the results that they are working towards.
