🌞 Summer Heat and Swollen Legs

Chronically swollen legs (leg edema) can increase the risk of skin damage, including venous leg ulcers, which can be difficult to heal and may recur. 🩹

If you’ve been prescribed compression garments, it’s important to wear them consistently—even in hot weather.

💡 Tip: Open-toed compression stockings may feel cooler in summer and can also help reduce moisture buildup and athlete’s foot risk.
