Cervicogenic headaches are caused by dysfunction in the upper cervical joints and muscles, not in the head itself. They're often misdiagnosed as tension headaches or migraines, and no amount of pain medication will fix a joint problem.

When you come in for physiotherapy, registered massage therapy, acupuncture, or kinesiology, we submit your claim directly to your insurer on your behalf. No forms to fill out at home. No receipts to track. No waiting weeks for a reimbursement cheque to arrive.

You show up. You receive your treatment. You leave. We handle the rest.

We direct bill to most major extended health providers in Canada, including:

If you've had regular massage and physio but still have that one stubborn spot that won't release — IMS might be exactly what you need.

Intramuscular stimulation (IMS), also known as dry needling, uses fine acupuncture-style needles to target deep trigger points within the muscle. Unlike acupuncture, IMS is guided by nerve and muscle anatomy to desensitize the nervous system and release tension at its source.

If your extended health benefits run on a calendar year — January to December — any unused physiotherapy, registered massage therapy, or acupuncture coverage disappears at midnight on December 31.

It does not roll over. It does not get added to next year. It is simply gone.

Most extended health plans in Canada include annual coverage for:
- Physiotherapy — typically $300 to $1,000+ per year
- Registered Massage Therapy — typically $300 to $600+ per year
- Acupuncture — typically $200 to $500+ per year
- Kinesiology — increasingly included in comprehensive plans

Step one: call your insurer or log into your benefits portal and check exactly what you have remaining and when your plan year ends. Do not assume — plans vary significantly.
