It's in! Just in time for my fully booked Saskatoon-Humboldt day coming up.

If we have feet in question, we will let the cobit decide what needs to happen.

Did you know that misalignment can pinch nerves and cause muscle atrophy?

Why does this happen? I don't have the exact answer. Something in the pasture, the way we ride, unusual circumstances etc etc. It could be anything and that is why I believe in regular body work.

Just like ourselves, sometimes we need someone else to physically manipulate structure, muscles, nerve centres, emotions etc etc.

We have so many professionals out there helping us with our mind (psychologists), body (massage, chiro, acupuncture, cupping, Lazer, physio). It takes such a community of people to continue to keep our bodies functioning tip top.

I like to relate my horse therapy to my own health journey. I have to first understand how to fuel my body for optimal energy, healing, recovery and brain function.

Since having kids, ive rediscovered the importance of movement, physio, strengthening and stretching, chiro and massage.

Combine all these things (along with so much more; the foot, the diet, the exercise, the riding program and mechanics, conformation) and think about how we can best help our horses.

How do they move? Why.
How do they act? Why.
How do they react? Why.

I am such a nerd for each and every case I come across and the more i know, the more i MUST know.

Ill tell you one thing for free, the better I do for myself and discover how much better I can do for myself, the more i can relate to how I am helping horses and how much more I can help them.

Okay, that was a mouthful.

Get curious guys! Message me to ask questions about your horse. What are you seeing? Why? I will help where I can and when I cant, I have a big network of peers in the industry who also love to help.

For the horse.

Take a look at pinned post for Saskatoon, October 24th.

2 locations:

Rhinestone
River's Edge

Osteopathy: An osteopath (or manual osteopathic practitioner) uses hands-on techniques like stretching, massage, and joint manipulation to treat muscle and joint pain, improve mobility, and help the body heal itself.

I will be bringing my COBIT along to take a look at foot balance based on Ross Smith's centre of balance research. This should be a fun tool to try!

Please check pinned post for dates and locations. Some dates are already booked up.

Spots are filling up and once they are gone, theyre gone and I will give first priority to regular clients moving forward.

Maybe you'd like to book your regular spot and if it doesnt work one month, you can sell it to someone else, but I would recommend getting on the regular list.

Oh and if you are still reading. Leave me a review and ill take $10 off your next treatment. Comment done once that review is done.

After completing my business admin diploma at Lakeland College, I ventured out into the real world to test out some different career paths.

Horses kept calling. I thought it might be nice to be able to do something else other than just training.

Fast forward to today; I am so glad to be able to work on horses as a mother. Motherhood definitely changes the direction of horse business for a while and so being able to diversify into something else "horse" besides riding was the right decision.

Lately I was blessed to be able to reconnect with a very successful friend and talented horse therapist.

JK Equine Therapy took me on to help at some fairly significant shows in Tulsa, Vegas, and today Ill be leaving for Scottsdale.

These trips reignited my passion to help horses. The diverse team that Janine brings together nurtures my fire to continue my education and go down all those amazing rabbit holes for so many soreness issues, miracle stories and well, the ones that aren't so fortunate, but provide such depth of learning after life (dissection).

I love getting messages from people asking what the heck they're looking at. Either I can help guide them to a solution, or refer on to so many knowledgeable peers in the industry to help.

Something that really inspired me lately is how much JK Equine Therapy brings together amazing women to be a team on the job.

For the horse.

If you dont know, ask. If I dont know, ill ask someone else. There is no pride in helping the horse. I believe that each and every therapist brings something unique to the table.

Maybe it is a random experience that taught them something that is helpful for a case. Maybe they learned a method slightly different than the next person that works well with different kinds of horses. Maybe some therapists just like what they do and focus on that.

I think if we all work together, we can do the best we can for the horse.

I am really excited to get back working on horses because it helps. My soul seems to always look for ways to help; people and horses. I just can't help it.

Structure first. I always say this. This sets horses up the best for all other therapies to work the best they can.

Of course a good look at feet is equally as important, but my favorite part of therapy is using my skillset to align structure. We can start to see some incredible results unfold with this basis.

Then we can really dial into nerve systems, muscle systems and biomechanics of riding. But, first structure.

If this is something you also believe in, I would be happy to book you on one of my travel dates. See pinned post.

This picture was taken 5 minutes before I hopped into a Tesla with a stranger who boldly outright asked me if I believe in God, after I explained why I was in Vegas.

It was an easy yes, but where the conversation went next was unexpected.

We talked about what really matters in life and it was the second time in my travels where my brain immediately said "make disciples" and then he said "make disciples, share God".

Feeling brave because I knew i would never see him again, I admitted that I chickened out over and over again in situations where I should speak up.

We ran out of time on our drive to unpack it more, but all he said was read Jeremiah.

Like..... how loud does God have to speak????

So. With nothing else to do for my flight, I got into it.

THE BOLDNESS! Whew!! So if God sent me that message, I think i heard it loud and clear.

It isnt solely about the horses. It's the people. So if you hear me out on the road being a bit more bold. Hit Jeremiah and youll know why.

God will book the horses, my prayer is that he uses me for the people. ā¤ļø

Hi horse friends! Don't be afraid of alfalfa, should your horses be able to eat it.

Reminder; not to the ponies! Although, my mind is often challenged by the fact that they thrive on next to nothing instead of alfalfa.

I am offering first cut, no rain. Located by Tisdale.

At this time we have not made any second cut.
