🥁 Hey everybody!

It’s Abby here! 👋🏾

I’m inviting you to come join me for Health Rhythms for Seniors at Champlain Heights Community Centre.

We’re gonna get together, play some drums, make some rhythms, have some laughs and just have a GOOD time! 🥁😄

And listen you do NOT have to know how to drum. If you can tap, clap, shake or just show up with a smile, you’re good! 😂

Drumming is good for the mind, good for the body, good for the spirit and it’s a whole lot more fun when we do it together.

So come on out, bring your curiosity, and let’s see what happens when we put some rhythm in the room!

🎻🥁 A room full of classical musicians. One Ibo drum. Pure magic.

There's something truly special about bringing musicians from different backgrounds together.

At a recent potluck filled with music, dancing, and board games, we shared an unforgettable improvisation session. Watching classically trained musicians explore rhythm through the Ibo drum, body percussion, and spontaneous collaboration was inspiring. Their curiosity, creativity, and willingness to experiment reminded us that music is a universal language.

The Ibo drum quickly became the centre of attention, with everyone eager to feel its unique rhythm and discover the joy of creating music together.

Moments like these remind us that the best music often happens when we listen, connect, and simply play. 💛

There's something special about seeing a team connect beyond their day-to-day work.

I had the pleasure of facilitating a 30-minute rhythm-based Team-Building Energizer session.

We began with a mindful meditation, moved into interactive drumming, challenged ourselves with a fun egg-passing activity, and wrapped up with an energizing drumming finale.

It ignites the fire within me to witness how rhythm, laughter, and collaboration can bring people together in such a short time.

A heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated with such enthusiasm and support. It was a joy to share this experience with you all.

Looking forward to creating more meaningful moments of connection through rhythm.

Kindly DM me to book a rhythmic corporate team-building event.

✨ What an incredible experience at the Swahili Festival Canada on July 5! 🌍💛

It was such a joy to be part of this vibrant celebration of culture, music, food, and community. Every conversation, performance, and smile made the day truly special.

I also had the honour of meeting Raj Chouhan MLA, and Peter Julian (Former NDP MP). It was wonderful connecting with leaders who value and support diverse communities across Canada.

One of my favourite parts of the day was meeting so many amazing people throughout the festival. Whether we chatted for a few minutes or simply shared a smile, those unexpected connections reminded me why community events like this are so meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who made the festival so welcoming and memorable. I left with a full heart, new connections, and beautiful memories. Looking forward to the next one! ❤️

There's a sound that doesn't ask to be noticed — it just settles into the room.
That's what the steel tongue drum does. No technique required, no rush, just one note leading gently into the next.
What's a sound that instantly calms you down?
