Col (Ret’d) Richard Pucci said it best — this is what showing up looks like.

The 3rd annual Valhalla Open brought veterans, first responders and police out to Timber Ridge for a day of golf, and BrainStim was proud to stand behind it as title sponsor. Thank you to Matt and the whole Valhalla team for building something that keeps growing — planning is already underway for year four.

We were also grateful to hear from Doug Smith, former NHL first-round draft pick, who spoke openly about what he carried after his injuries. Those conversations are the reason days like this matter.

Veterans and first responders deserve care that meets them where they are. That’s the work — on the course and in the clinic.

Sponsorship isn’t just a logo on a banner.
Mathew Belear, CEO of the Valhalla Open, stopped by to say thanks — for the organization, the support, and the work behind the scenes that made the third Valhalla Open happen.

Momentum continues to build for the ANCHOR research study.
Two cohorts have now been completed, and two of the three August treatment weeks are already fully booked.
ANCHOR is investigating whether one non invasive treatment approach may help veterans living with both PTSD and chronic pain.
Participants receive support throughout the study, including:
• Guidance from a coordinated clinical and research team
• An opportunity to meet with the study psychiatrist
• Scheduled three week and six week follow ups
• Accommodation coordinated through Honor House for previous cohorts

Limited availability remains for eligible BC veterans.

Submit your Expression of Interest to request study information and begin the initial eligibility screening.

Participation is voluntary. The treatment being studied is investigational, and individual results may vary.

The brain shapes how we think, feel, remember, connect and experience the world around us.

For people living with depression, PTSD, chronic pain or persistent mental health concerns, the impact can reach every part of daily life.

On World Brain Day, we are raising awareness about the importance of brain health and the need for compassionate, evidence informed and personalized mental health care.

At BrainStim, we are committed to supporting individuals through advanced treatment options, clinical care and a deeper understanding of the brain.

Because seeking help is not a sign of weakness. It is a step toward hope, healing and a better quality of life.

One year of BrainStim in Halifax.

On July 11, we celebrated the first anniversary of our Halifax clinic, surrounded by the community, colleagues, and veterans who have shared this journey with us. A BrainsWay technician joined the celebration to walk everyone through the H1 and H4 coils behind our Deep TMS machines, giving guests a closer look at the technology powering the care we provide.

We were grateful to have members of our team share their experience and insight into brain health, including Dr. Femi, Dr. Kanuja, Retired Colonel Richard, and Retired Colonel Rakesh Jaitly. Having veterans in the room made the day especially meaningful and reflected exactly the people this work is built to serve.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Here’s to the year ahead.
