Live Yoga is a friendly community minded yoga studio located in the heart of beautiful White Rock. All levels of health and ability are welcome, with appropriate levels of yoga for the very beginner to the advanced yogi. Our class schedule is aimed to include classes for the entire community, including students, seniors and prenatal. As yoga is designed to make us feel happy, healthy, and peaceful

, we want to give as many people a chance to experience it as possible. We welcome everyone to our studio, and keep our rates reasonable so that our studio is accessible to all.

Did you know many Live Yoga passes include a guest pass?

Our intro membership, flex pass, 10/20 class cards, and monthly membership all include a guest pass option, so you can bring a friend, family member, or colleague to class for free if they haven’t attended Live Yoga before.

To bring a guest:
1. Book yourself into class first.
2. On the confirmation page, tap Add a Guest.
3. Enter your guest’s name and email.
4. Choose your available guest pass, and you’re all set.

Already booked your class? You can still add a guest later by logging in, going to Your Schedule, finding your booked class, and tapping Add a Guest.

Guest passes can only be used for classes within your current billing cycle.
Bring someone you care about and share your practice with them. We’d love to welcome them to Live Yoga.

Walk The Rock is tomorrow!

We’d love to see our Live Yoga community come out for a morning of movement, connection, and local support. Live Yoga will be leading a free Pier Oceanside Yoga class as part of Walk The Rock, a community fundraising event organized by Peace Arch Hospital Foundation’s Youth in Action program, led by local Grade 10–12 students.

All proceeds collected from the event will support a new ICU and Cardiac Monitoring Unit at Peace Arch Hospital, helping improve care for patients and families in our community.

This class is open to all ages, and no equipment is required. Bring a towel if you’d like, then stay for the full celebration at Memorial Park from 12:00–5:00pm with family-friendly activities, food vendors, and community fun. Tobey will be at the Live Yoga board chatting yoga and sharing about our studio! Come say hi!

At Live Yoga, we’ve been hosting sound baths for years, and for good reason.

Sound-based relaxation practices have been studied for their ability to support stress reduction, mood, tension, fatigue, anxiety, and overall wellbeing. Research on singing bowl meditation has shown that participants reported feeling less tension, anger, fatigue, and low mood after a sound meditation session.

We see why this practice can be so meaningful for students. When you lie down in a supported yoga posture, the body has permission to soften. The breath can slow down. The muscles can release. The mind has something steady to rest on. And the nervous system gets a chance to settle.

That’s why we love combining sound with Yin and Restorative Yoga. The longer, supported postures help prepare the body for deep rest, while the sound bath supports relaxation, focus, and a quieter mind.

Walk The Rock is coming up, and we’d love to see our Live Yoga community there.
This wonderful community event is organized by Peace Arch Hospital Foundation’s Youth in Action program, a group of local Grade 10–12 students helping bring people together for movement, connection, and giving back.

Summer is a wonderful time to come to class more often, and we always want our students to get the best value for their yoga practice.

Big news for Tobey and her family 💛

This summer, Tobey and her family are moving to the Netherlands for a new adventure.

We are so happy for them, and also very aware that we are going to miss Tobey around the studio.

So many of you have taken classes with Tobey over the years and know exactly what makes her special. She teaches with care, clarity, humour, and so much knowledge. Her classes help students feel stronger, more capable, and better connected to their bodies.

Tobey has also created something really special through her Prenatal Yoga and Mom & Baby classes. She has supported so many women through pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood, and helped build friendships and community during a time when that support means so much.

And behind the scenes, Tobey has been a huge part of Live Yoga. She helps with admin, schedules, events, and about a thousand little things that keep the studio running smoothly. We honestly don’t know what we would have done without her.

The good news is this is not goodbye forever. Tobey and her family are keeping their roots here in White Rock, and we hope to welcome her back for workshops and pop-up classes when she visits.

Tobey’s last classes are on June 22, so please book in, come practice with her, and help us send her off with a big Live Yoga farewell.

Tobey, we love you, we are so grateful for you, and we are cheering you and your family on for this next chapter.

The longest day of the year deserves the deepest exhale.

Join us at Live Yoga on Saturday, June 20 for A Summer Solstice Yin & Sound Bath — a grounding evening of Yin, Restorative Yoga, and live sound to help you slow down, soften, and reset before summer fully begins.

We’ll move through long, supported poses to help release what your body has been carrying, followed by a live sound bath with crystal singing bowls and other instruments to guide you into deep rest.

No experience needed. Just show up, settle in, and breathe.

It’s a simple way to share your practice with someone you care about and help them experience the Live Yoga community.
