I don’t work in programmes, or groups, there isn’t a system. I respect your journey.

A story only you can tell.

Over eight sessions we move through the layers — the exhaustion, the lost sense of self, the patterns that have kept you small, the identity that has been waiting quietly underneath all of it.

We work at depth. At pace. Without rushing the process or cutting corners on what needs time.

People who come to this work are not broken. They are capable, perceptive, deeply feeling people who have simply been living too far from themselves for too long.

If that’s you — and you’re ready — I’d love to talk.

When the nervous system doesn’t feel safe — truly, deeply safe — it will resist change. Not out of stubbornness or an unwillingness to try. . Out of protection.

We live in a culture that treats every problem as a motivation problem.

Try harder. Push through. Want it more.

What I notice in my work, again and again, is that the real barrier isn’t effort. It’s safety.

The body learned long ago that change can be dangerous. That hope can be disappointing. That letting your guard down has a cost.

Hypnotherapy works at precisely this level. Not pushing. Not forcing. Instead creating the conditions in which the deeper mind finally feels safe enough to shift.

That’s a very different thing from willpower. And in my experience, it’s far more lasting.

Self sabotage is the familiar label and covers many patterns such as the procrastination, the people-pleasing, the inability to rest, keeping “busy”.

When we recognise that this is actually the nervous system doing exactly what it learned to do, we can pause.

Become the witness of our own patterns in action.

At some point, it might have been that staying small felt safer than being seen. Being busy felt safer than being still. Putting others first felt safer than having needs.

“Doing” without knowing why.

These are common adaptations. Intelligent ones.

The work isn’t to fight them. It’s to help the deeper parts of you understand that safety is available now.

That you don’t need those old strategies anymore.

That’s what hypnotherapy, at its best, makes possible.

This is what makes my work exceptional beyond the hypnosis.

There’s a particular kind of tiredness that sleep doesn’t fix.

It lives in the body. In the jaw. In the shoulders that never quite drop. In the way you move through your days doing everything right and still feeling somehow… absent from your own life.

This isn’t weakness. It isn’t ingratitude. It isn’t something to push through.

It’s your nervous system telling you something important - something you’ve possibly been ignoring for a very long time. A very long time.

That message deserves to be heard. Not managed. Not medicated into silence. Heard.

If this is where you are right now — you’re not alone.

People often ask me what actually happens in a session.

Usually what they mean is: will I lose control? Will I say something embarrassing? Will you make me cluck like a chicken?

Here’s the facts. You are awake the entire time. You hear everything. You remember everything. Nothing happens to you that you don’t allow. Hypnotherapy isn’t a trick performed on you — it’s a state you’re guided into, gently, the same way you slip into that hazy few minutes before sleep, or the way a good film makes you forget you’re sitting in a cinema.

What changes in that state is access. Your conscious mind — the part that overthinks, second-guesses, protects, creator of the “what ifs” — softens its grip just enough for the rest of you to be heard.

That’s it. That’s the “trick.”

“Can’t fully describe it but it’s definitely worth trying if you’re curious about it.” — one client’s words, and honestly, one of the most accurate descriptions I’ve heard. Some things are better felt than explained.

Any questions welcome.

The honest answer is something different every time.

Why? - because every person who sits with me brings their own particular way of being lost. Their own texture of pain. Their own timeline of how they got here.

The story only they can tell.

What stays the same is the quality of the space. The unhurried attention. The kindness. The absence of an agenda beyond what’s right for this person, in this moment. What actually matters to them .

Sometimes there are tears. Sometimes there’s laughter. Often both, often at the same time.

Complex feelings rule here.

Sometimes there’s a silence so still it feels like something important just shifted underneath it.

People leave differently from how they arrived.

Not fixed.

Not transformed overnight.

Just somehow… lighter.

Like they remembered something they’d forgotten about themselves.

A recognition both new and old.

That’s the work.

And it’s a privilege every single time. Every single session.

It happened slowly. In all the years of being needed. Of holding things together. Of putting yourself last so quietly that eventually you stopped noticing you’d done it.

And now there’s this feeling — hard to name, easy to dismiss — that the person you used to be has somehow slipped out of reach.

This is one of the most common things I sit with in my work. Not crisis. Not breakdown. Just a quiet, exhausting distance from yourself.

The good news is that distance isn’t permanent. The self doesn’t disappear. It waits.

If this resonates, save it. Share it with someone who needs to read it today.
