This week we attended our monthly drop in at North Birkenhead Development Trust - St James Centre 🙌

We had a great morning, chatting to people about taking up the challenge of quitting smoking for Stoptober... 🍃

We also managed to snap some photos of the fantastic murals on the building and the art work inside. And even better, 'Scouse' was on the menu for lunch, delicious!

Anna had some company at our monthly engagement drop in yesterday at Wirral NHS Hospitals - Arrowe Park & Clatterbridge 😃

Guest of Honour! 🌟

Today, the ABL Wirral team had the pleasure of welcoming Commissioner Rebecca Mellor and the incredible Liz Woodworth.

Although now retired, Liz spent the afternoon sharing her inspiring journey in smoking cessation and brought along her British Empire Medal (BEM), awarded for her outstanding services to smoking cessation 🥇

Liz said she wanted to give the team a boost and remind them of the difference they make every day. Hosted by Project Lead Alison Metcalfe, the visit gave staff the chance to ask questions, hear Liz's experiences, and take inspiration from her remarkable career.

Reflecting on her visit, Liz said:

"All the staff at ABL are amazing. You are all doing what you should be doing and more. Well done!"
