You might notice what appears to be more hair growth after a laser hair removal session, but this is completely normal!
Hair grows in cycles, and not all hairs are in the same stage of growth at the same time. Laser treatment is most effective when hairs are in the active growth phase, which means only a percentage of hairs can be treated effectively at each appointment.
As treatment progresses, the hair growth cycle becomes more aligned, known as synchronised growth. This means that hairs begin entering the active growth phase around the same time, making them more visible between sessions.
This doesn’t mean the treatment isn’t working or that you’re growing more hair. It’s simply part of the process and allows each subsequent session to target more hairs at the optimal stage for treatment.
Consistency is key, and with each session you’re moving closer to smoother skin ✨
