Led by Advanced Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Trainer, Ro Harstad, this session is designed to be safe, supportive and inclusive — whether you’re brand new to yoga, returning after a break, or simply wanting to move in a more easeful way.

Afternoon x

I’m writing this from Turkey while teaching this week’s yoga holiday, and having this space away has given me a moment to pause and really reflect on the past year.

What we’ve created together in class has felt genuinely special. The way you show up, in all your different seasons and energies, has shaped something that goes far beyond just movement. It’s connection, it’s care, it’s those small but powerful moments where you come back to yourself.

I’d really love that to continue beyond the studio and into your home practice.

If you’ve been thinking about building something a little more regular, or you’re craving a softer, more supportive way to move, I’m now teaching online each Sunday morning from 10 to 11. It’s a gentle floor based class where we focus on releasing tension, improving mobility and giving your nervous system a chance to properly settle. Nothing rushed, nothing forced, just space to arrive as you are.

Day 2 in Dalyan yoga holiday and something has already shifted.

The edges have softened. Shoulders a little lower, breath a little deeper, laughter a little easier. There’s that quiet magic that happens when people begin to arrive not just to a place, but to themselves.

This morning’s practice felt less like “doing yoga” and more like remembering. Remembering how to flow and feel without force, to simply be without needing to fix or improve anything.

Connections are forming in the most natural way over mats, shared meals, and those in-between moments where stories slip out effortlessly. Strangers turning into something softer… familiar.

And the real beauty? It’s only day two.

There’s a whole week of unfolding ahead ✨

Yesterday’s Mini Retreat Day

Community.
Connection.
Care.

And it truly was that.

No fixing.
No performing.
No pressure to have it all together.

Just real humans sharing space.
The deep hum of the gong.
Crystal bowls softening the edges of the room.
Journals open.
Soothing eye pillows placed on tired eyes
Warm, simple bowls of soup in steady hands.
Breath slowing. Shoulders dropping.

There was laughter.
There were tender moments.
There was that quiet relief of not holding everything alone.

No big performance.
Just presence.
Just care.

Every time we gather like this, I’m reminded how powerful it is to pause together, without rushing, without proving, without pretending we’re fine when we’re actually beautifully human.

I’m opening bookings for my in-person Duo Foot Reflexology Training, a three-day immersion blending Thai foot reflexology with Western reflexology principles.

I’ve been a reflexologist since I was 21 (ahh the memories), and I’ve been training reflexologists for over 13 years. This training brings together decades of clinical experience, teaching, and real-world practice, with a strong focus on sustainability, ethics, and confidence in your hands.

No previous reflexology experience is necessary.
This training is suitable for complete beginners as well as yoga teachers, therapists, bodyworkers, and wellbeing practitioners looking to add a low-impact, deeply restorative modality to their work.

What you’ll learn includes:
Thai and Western foot reflexology foundations
Full treatment sequencing and safe pressure
Joint-friendly practitioner body mechanics
Hot stone integration within reflexology treatments
Client care, consent, and contraindications
DEIJB and trauma-aware clinical practice
Marketing, promotion, and client retention

More than ever, clients are seeking low-impact, restful therapies that support stress, nervous-system overload, and burnout. Reflexology is a well-established, respected therapy that offers deep relaxation without force, effort, or overstimulation.

I’m really glad to be supporting this event

In February 2026, Divergents Unmasked LIVE is happening. A two day online gathering created by and for neurodivergent people, centred on lived experience, nervous system awareness, identity, work, leadership, menopause, communication, and unmasking safely.

I’m supporting this event as a whole and also contributing gentle yoga sessions on replay, because it aligns deeply with how I work and what I stand for.

This space isn’t about labels, fixing yourself, or fitting into medical frameworks.
Diagnosis isn’t the focus here.

It’s about:
🌱 acknowledging where you’re at
🌱 making sense of your experiences in context
🌱 sharing lived experience without having to justify it
🌱 being met with respect, not correction

There’s a thoughtful mix of talks, workshops, and roundtables across the two days, and if live attendance doesn’t work for you, replays are available as a small add on with bonus material, a forum space, and lifetime access.

Chair Yoga Teacher Training – Levels 1 & 2

Chair yoga is not a “lighter” practice — it’s precise, intelligent, and deeply impactful when taught well.

I’m running the Chair Yoga Teacher Training pathway designed for teachers and professionals and those interested in holistic movement who want to deliver accessible, inclusive, and safe seated movement/yoga in real-world settings.

Level 1 – Seated Foundations
A 3-day in-person training held at our retreat space in West Wales
(Training can also be arranged at your studio or organisation)

Level 1 focuses on:
• Fully seated chair yoga practices
• Safe alignment & functional movement
• Inclusive language and accessible cueing
• Teaching people who can’t or don’t want to get on the floor
• Building confidence working with diverse bodies

Level 2 – Applied & Specialist Chair Yoga (coming later this year)
Level 2 builds on the foundations of Level 1 and cannot be taken without completing Level 1 first.

Level 2 will include:
• Chair yoga for specific health conditions
• Nervous system regulation & pain-aware practices
• Progressions, regressions & supported standing
• Teaching in care, community & clinical environments
• Trauma-informed, consent-led delivery
• Case studies and real-world teaching scenarios

This pathway is for yoga teachers, wellbeing professionals, carers, and facilitators who want to expand access without diluting quality. You do not need to be a yoga teacher to attend this training but the training does not qualify you to teach traditional or floor based yoga.

If you’re ready to teach chair yoga with clarity, confidence, and integrity — this is for you.
