From injury rehab- to building this physique 👏🏼

Around 16 months between these photos, with just two 8-week coaching phases together.

Michael took what he learned, applied it himself and continued to progress even when we weren’t working together.

That’s what good coaching should do — give you results AND the tools to keep progressing.

Unreal work mate

If you’re putting the work in but not seeing the progress you should be, drop me a message.

16 months between these photos.

But Michael hasn’t been coached by me for 16 months.

We’ve actually worked together for two separate 8-week periods.

When Michael first started online coaching, he already trained consistently and had a decent understanding of the gym — but he needed more structure, accountability and direction with his nutrition.

To be honest, he was stubborn🤣

Tracking calories wasn’t something he thought he needed to do.

But once he bought into the process, he took a lot from it.

Even while working independently between our coaching phases, he continued applying what he’d learned — gradually increasing his food, progressing his training and putting on a serious amount of muscle.

He then came back to me for another 8 weeks to get leaner and bring out what he’d built.

The goal of coaching shouldn’t be to make you reliant on a coach forever.

It’s to give you the knowledge and structure to keep progressing.

It’s fair to say he’s done exactly that 👏

If you’ve been training consistently but your physique isn’t reflecting the work you’re putting in, drop me a message.

One of the WORST leg sessions to date.

Food is low
Energy is low
Strength is low

Did it anyway.

Not setting any PB’s today by a long shot, but a good amount of stimulus driven. I think it’s important to share that not every session goes as planned, almost everything felt off. At this stage of the diet I am solely focusing on performing every exercise as accurately as possible no matter the load.

The session⬇️

3 x calves

2 x adduction

3 x seated leg curl

2 x leg extension

2 x pendulum (ended up doing 1 pendulum, 1 hack because of how bad that first set was on pendulum, hack felt noice)

2 x squat press

You’ve trained consistently for another year… so why do you still look the same?

5 reasons why 👇

1️⃣ You keep changing your programme
You never give yourself enough time to actually progress your lifts.

2️⃣ You don’t train to failure
If you’re consistently finishing sets with plenty left in the tank, you’re leaving progress on the table.

3️⃣ Your nutrition doesn’t match your goal
Eating “healthy” doesn’t automatically mean you’re eating enough to grow or in a deficit to lose fat.

4️⃣ You live for the weekends
Being consistent Monday–Friday means very little if every weekend cancels out your deficit.

5️⃣ You’re not consistent for long enough
You’re consistent when it’s convenient, as soon as work gets busy it’s your excuse to give up.

Another year of training should give you something to show for it.

Stop looking for more. Start getting better at the basics.

Really proud of what Charlotte achieved over these 8 weeks 👏

But even better than the physical changes is seeing the difference in her training, confidence, habits and mindset.

This is exactly why I love coaching.

Amazing work, Charlotte 🙌

5kg down. 9cm off her waist. 8 weeks. 👏

But the best part of Charlotte’s transformation?

Her life didn’t have to revolve around getting in shape.

Meals out stayed in.
Sunday dinners stayed in.
Her social life stayed in.

We built the plan around her life, nailed the basics and made adjustments when they were needed.

You don’t need to make fitness your entire life to change your physique.

If you’re already training consistently but feel like your physique doesn’t reflect the work you’re putting in, drop me a message 📲

Upper🎯

- 2 x upper back pulldown
- 2 x mid back row
- 2 x pec deck
- 2 x high incline smith press (if I shifted any real load I might’ve had an issue there, spazzy thumb completely losing control)
- 2 x Cybex eagle chest press
- 2 x cable bicep curl
- 2 x tricep pushdown

Engaging with my chest is something I’ve struggled with for the longest time so really focussing on ex*****on here. Bringing out the chest is a massive target for me and Pete Royle | Online Coach this off season, stripped the load right back and purely focusing on feel. Training is still enjoyable even with really low food so we’re in a good place, visuals improving week on week. Plenty of progress made but this is just the start.
