✨ Supporting women’s wellbeing, naturally. ✨

I’ll be honest, my affordable (some say cheap!) prices have put people off booking in with me.

This made me sad, my price point is the way it as because I want well-being to be accessible and often the cost is a barrier.

Lifestyle, diet, stress and hormones can all impact how we feel and how our skin looks.

That’s why I brought lymphatic facial and scalp massage to Wellnest.
To bring skincare back to basics with a more holistic approach using beautiful Neal's Yard Remedies products.

Massage is fabulous for releasing tension in the face and scalp and it’s also relaxing 🧘

💚 World Mental Health Day 💚

Today is World Mental Health Day, but as we know, if you struggle with your mental health, it isn’t just for one day.

That’s why today is so important. It helps raise awareness and signpost people to support and services in their local area.

Sometimes, the biggest step is simply acknowledging how you feel. 💭

Please remember that no worry is too small or too big, and you are never a burden for talking to someone or asking for help.

Please don’t face things alone.

It might seem like a small thing, but this morning could be the perfect opportunity to grab a friend, head out for a walk, and have a chat.
Sometimes, a little fresh air and a conversation can make all the difference. 🌿

The team ReformYUpilates and I are always here for anyone who needs a little support, a listening ear, or simply someone to talk to. 💚

Look after yourself, check in on your loved ones, and remember that your mental health matters today and every day.

✨ Your facial muscles don’t just stop at your hairline…

So why would your facial massage?

The muscles, tissues and tension across your scalp are all connected.

We hold so much tension in our scalp without even realising it, especially around the temples, forehead and hairline.

Honestly… I think the scalp massage is now one of the parts people look forward to most!

A facial shouldn’t be about just your face… it’s about giving you that feeling of total relaxation and wellbeing.

I wasn’t going to post about this today… but then I thought, why wouldn’t I?

I want to share all sides of my work, because behind every treatment is a person.🤍

I have clients who have been diagnosed with cancer and other life limiting illnesses. But a diagnosis doesn’t mean you stop needing time for yourself.

If anything, that precious ‘me time’ becomes even more important.

When I first qualified in 2018, I worked at Bolton Hospice as a community support nurse whilst building my business. It was a very special place that taught me so much about care, compassion and just how sensitive our bodies can become when we are unwell.

Today, I visited one of my beautiful clients who has recently been diagnosed with MND.

We talked.
I listened.
And for 90 minutes, she could switch off from appointments, treatment, worries and everything else that comes with a diagnosis.

I gave her reflexology, followed by a soothing leg and foot massage, all from the comfort of her own home.

These treatments might seem like a little bit of luxury, but I believe they can be so much more.

They can offer comfort and Sometimes, they simply allow someone to feel like themselves again.

I drove away today with a very full heart. ❤️

Knowing that, for 90 minutes, my beautiful client had some time that was just for her.

And knowing that, despite everything she is facing, she chose me to be the person to give her that little bit of comfort…

That means more to me than I can put into words. ✨

I don’t think looking after ourselves has to look a certain way.

Some days it might be movement.
Some days it might be rest.
And sometimes, it’s simply lying down for an hour while someone else takes care of you. ✨

What a weekend!! 🫶🏼

Yesterday morning I headed to Harwood, promoting Wellnest at the artisan markets at the Methodist Church.

A huge thank you to Joanna and the team for creating such a lovely space. ✨

I set up my massage chair and offered free mini scalp massages, which certainly brought people over!
But why do I still feel so awkward promoting my own treatments when it’s something I’m actually really proud of?!

I guess it’s something I need to get better at and build my confidence with.
I’m very good at shouting about everyone else… just not myself! 😂

The afternoon saw me back at Reform Yu, treating two lovely new clients and one regular client. 🥰

Then this morning I woke up to a notification from Facebook… I’ve hit 1k followers! 🥹❤️

I’m not a content creator, I’m just trying to build a business that I absolutely love, so reaching a little milestone like this really has made my heart smile. 🥰

I’m now nourishing my own body with a lovely breakfast and some F1 before heading off this afternoon to treat some more clients.

I’ll also be opening up Sunday 25th October PM, so if you’d like an appointment, please let me know as these won’t be on the booking system.
