💙 Celebrating Loyal Service at DHU 💙

Following our April 2026 Loyal Service event, led by our Chief Executive, Stephen Bateman, we were reminded of the compassion, commitment and care our people do everyday. It was an emotional and inspiring celebration - a moment to reflect on why we do what we do, together.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing some of the stories of colleagues who have recently celebrated milestone years of service with us. Next up, meet some of our dedicated colleagues who have reached five years of service.

Last week we told you about our DHU Academy being shortlisted for a British Training Award, this week we meet one of our colleagues who is on one of their courses.

The team became a learning provider for the first time, creating and delivering our first apprenticeship in Emergency Contact Handling.

Eleni is one of our Health Advisors who is now a couple of months into that programme, learning new skills to progress her career with us and deliver better care for you.

Earlier this week our Northants team were pleased to represent DHU at the Wellingborough Health Mela, promoting health, wellbeing and community connection.

As a Community Interest Company, talking about our services, how to access healthcare and promote health awareness and prevention, alongside giving professional advice to local residents and communities was a privilege.

Thank you to the Wellingborough District Hindu Association for inviting us to what was only their second annual event and to everyone who came to see us.
