I’m here to support you, but you do the healing...and I encourage you to own every bit of your hard-earned progress.

This space is where I share what I’ve learned - and I’m so glad you’re here. It you have any questions, head to the DMs.

Our default might be to keep the peace.

Dysregulation can look like:
Agreeing to plans you don’t have energy for.

Saying “yes” to avoid guilt, even when your body says “no”

Losing clarity when challenged or saying “yes” to avoid guilt, even when your body says “no”

Pausing to evaluate is a nervous system skill. Dysregulation, however, puts your body in protection mode where we tend to react, overcorrect, or collapse.

I’m a psychotactile psychotherapist offering bodywork and talk therapy for connection between the body, the nervous system.

Forget about big grand changes.

Start small.

Bare feet on the ground and step into the here & now moment.

Movement invites a felt state, not a thinking one.

So give your brain a break and step into your body.

My clients have wisely opted for something different from fast or intense ‘fixing’ or ‘healing’, because they tried it and it didn’t work.

They start by bringing some simplicity into their lives.

To discover the impact of slower, more consistent, and traditional therapeutic sessions and the natural balance, and rhythm that wellness requires, enquire about how I can help you.

If you want to find out more, follow me.

Grounding isn’t ‘woo woo’ - it’s a really useful tool.

Grounding takes you back to the body, quitetens thoughts and helps you feel present.

It’s why I always massage barefoot - it gives me focus, balance & flexibility.

Grounding techniques are a big part of the support I offer to clients who are recovering from chronic pain, anxiety, and burnout.

Why I take an hour between clients
As a psychotherapist who offers somatic bodywork

As a psychotactile psychotherapist, I notice:
Your responses:
Your body language in a conversation.
How you hold yourself to amour and protect.
Your mood, energy and pain levels.
When you feel heard and when you need me to back off.
Subtle clues that tell me what’s happening with your nervous system.
And…during a massage:
How you respond to the touch.
When you let go of tension and discomfort.
How deep or shallow you breathe
How much touch you let in, or not.
If you are comfortable with silence
How you process touch and describe it

This means sessions sometimes take a little longer than planned. I don’t rush you. I also use the time between sessions to complete my notes, prep the room for my next client, and prep myself to keep my own nervous system regulated.

I’ve been a body worker for 26 years and I combine therapeutic touch with talk or focus on somatic body work to help you understand your nervous system and recognise your needs and how to achieve them.

I work with clients with chronic health pain and health issues including anxiety and burnout. I’m here to help you recover by making changes and building a resilient nervous system.

If this speaks to you, DM me or follow the link in my bio for a chat.

I help the women to slow down and quieten their busy heads by learning to listen to their bodies.

By focusing on our body, which stays present in the moment, we can reduce anxiety caused by projecting onto the past or future.

Learning how to settle into your body brings confidence, clarity…a sense of knowing, and a feeling of trust in yourself.

Where does your body hold tension?
Where does your body hold pain?
How do you begin to feel soft and at ease?

If you don’t know where to begin, take a look at my treatments and online zoom programs, or arrange a call to chat about your options.

POV: The body speaks first.

I don’t see massage as something that ends when you leave the table.

That’s why I encourage clients to stay connected to their body by moving or stretching afterwards.

Heres why >

I’ve noticed that when people move freely, their thoughts soften and flow more naturally.

Movement invites a felt state, not a thinking one.
When we pay attention to how the body moves and what we can feel, we give ourselves permission to slow down and truly listen.
