💚 You're Invited to Our Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning! 💚

Adefey Care is delighted to be collaborating with LifeTask Ltd to host a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 25th September, from 9am to 11am at Balby Court Business Campus.

Join us for a morning of coffee, conversation, and plenty of homemade sweet and savoury treats, all in support of the incredible work carried out by Macmillan Cancer Support.

Every donation, big or small, will help Macmillan continue providing practical, emotional, and financial support to people living with cancer and their loved ones.

Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee, a slice of cake, or simply to support a fantastic cause, we'd love to see you there.

🧁✨ Happy National Cupcake Day! ✨🧁

Today at Adefey Care, we've been putting our baking skills to the test... all in the name of research, of course! 👩‍🍳

As we prepare for our Macmillan Coffee Morning on 25th September, a couple of our team members have been busy perfecting their recipes.

Claire treated us to some beautiful glittery vanilla flower cupcakes, while Morgan brought along rustic chocolate cheesecake cupcakes topped with cream cheese frosting. Safe to say they were very well received by the team! 😋

We think there may be a few secret bakers hiding among the Adefey Care team, and if today's taste test is anything to go by, our Coffee Morning is going to be a delicious success.

🚶‍♀️💚 Challenge Complete!

This weekend, a member of the Adefey Care team took part in the Hospice Hike 2026, raising funds for the incredible work carried out by St John's Hospice.

Although the advertised distance was 13.5 miles, the final total came in at an impressive 14.1 miles! A fantastic achievement and a real test of determination, resilience, and commitment to supporting a truly worthwhile cause.

We are incredibly proud to have completed the challenge and to have raised £170 so far towards a target of £200.

With just £30 left to reach the goal, we would be grateful for any support. At Adefey Care, we're passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of people across our communities, not only through the care we provide but also through the causes we support.

We're proud to share that our Business Development & Contracts Manager, Morgan, will be taking part in the Hospice Hike 2026, a 13.5-mile sponsored walk in aid of St John's Hospice. This wonderful event helps raise vital funds to support specialist palliative and end-of-life care for local patients and their families.

Hospice services provide invaluable support during some of life's most challenging moments, and we're delighted to play a small part in helping ensure this care continues for those who need it most.

🧡 As we step into a new month, we are excited to share our updated Adefey Calendar - showcasing the wellbeing activities planned for our teams, alongside the events our management team will be hosting and attending across the region.

These monthly calendars are part of our ongoing commitment to staff appreciation and wellbeing. All wellbeing meet‑ups start at 12pm, giving our teams a consistent time to connect, unwind and take a well‑deserved break. To make these sessions even more meaningful, a member of our management team will always be present at one of the wellbeing events each month - creating space for open conversations, support and connection.

We would love to see as many of you as possible join us. These moments away from the day‑to‑day are a chance to recharge, meet colleagues, and feel part of the wider Adefey community.

Working alongside the Service Manager, you will help oversee day-to-day operations, support and supervise care staff, ensure compliance with care standards, and promote positive outcomes for the individuals we support.
