This is also something we hear a lot before someone’s first float.

And it makes sense...

We’re so used to constant stimulation — phones, noise, conversations, distractions — that the idea of doing “nothing” can feel uncomfortable.

Floatation therapy feels like something new.

But it’s actually been around for decades.

Float tanks were first developed in the 1950s,
and have been used ever since for relaxation, recovery, and research.

Busy professionals rely on it.
People use it to support sleep, stress, and overall wellbeing.

So while it might be growing in popularity now…
