We all experience headaches from time to time, and know how debilitating they can be.

But, many of you will experience them, and migraines, on a regular basis.

They can be linked to hormonal changes, something you’ve eaten, weather pressure changes, stress, anxiety, high blood pressure, or for no apparent reason whatsoever.

Reflexology is based on rebalancing all those systems in the body which could produce symptoms of head pain. It balances out hormones, metabolism, immune system, cardiovascular system, and so much more.

The head is represented in the toes, with the big toes representing the brain. Even pressing your big toes and giving them a rub can help ease symptoms of a headache. But as a nurse trained reflexologist, I get to work on the root causes, not just the symptoms.

So if you, or someone you know, would like help with your headaches or migraines contact me and we can start your journey to easing those symptoms. Save this post for my contact details, and please share to anyone you know that would benefit from my help.

I look forward to helping you!

As the schools start a new school year, it seems a great time to re-introduce myself.

I am the Sarah Hill behind, and in front of, Sarah Hill Reflexology. I have 30 years’ of nursing experience together with 7 years’ of reflexology.

I work from upstairs in my home, giving a warm cosy experience, but I also offer home visits for those unable to climb stairs or leave home.

My nursing experience gives me an interest in acute and chronic complex conditions, such as lymphoedema, fibromyalgia, CMT, arthritis, migraines, diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety, depression and so much more. Clients frequently tell me how nice it is not to have to explain their conditions, as I already have some understanding.

You will be made to feel very welcome, and you will get a treatment as unique as you are.

You will leave feeling calmer, rejuvenated, re-energised, motivated, and focused. You may feel less pain, experience better sleep, improved immunity, and so much more.

As we head towards autumn and winter, invest in your wellbeing and incorporate reflexology into your life….you won’t regret it!

Save the picture to remind you to tick it off your to do list! My contact details are there too. Send it to everyone you know that would also benefit!

I look forward to hearing from you!

How did you feel getting out of bed this morning?

Do you lie there for a while, mentally preparing to get up, because you know it’s going to hurt?

Do you have to work out whether your arms feel strong enough to push you up?

Do you dread going down the stairs, so you make sure you take everything with you so you don’t have to go back upstairs again?

Is your painkilling medication causing other side effects?

As a nurse-trained reflexologist based in Droitwich, with 3 decades of nursing experience, I totally understand the impact pain has on even the smallest movements and tasks. It’s not just the physical impact, but it can affect you mentally and emotionally as well.

Reflexology can help to support you.

By pressing specific areas on the feet, reflexology can help reduce tension in the muscles, reduce inflammation in joints, release natural pain killing endorphins, reduce swelling, improve sleep, and so much more.

What is the best thing about reflexology?

For me it is seeing a physical, mental and emotional shift.

By this I mean I see a client arrive feeling exhausted, tense, stressed, in pain, but leave smiling, relaxed, ready to face the world again.

Reflexology works on every system in the body at the tiniest cellular level, causing some subtle and some big changes, but all working to make you feel more like “you”.

Some changes can be measured. Having 3 decades of nursing experience, I can check blood pressure before and after a session to show how reflexology can lower blood pressure. I can measure limbs, so I can show how reflexology can reduce swelling and fluid retention.

Being a nurse-trained reflexologist gives me a knowledge base of chronic and acute complex conditions, ensuring I individualise the treatment to your particular needs.

Come and join those who have discovered the wonders of reflexology.

I’m often asked how I got into reflexology.

I wish I could tell you a story worth Disney making into a film, but it’s an every day story of me just wanting to make other people feel better!

When I was approximately 4 years old, I was given a nurse dressing up outfit (see picture) together with some rather gorgeous red ballet shoes 🤣.

I think this subconsciously made me want to be a nurse, and so, 14 years later I packed my suitcase (and a whole heap of boxes) and went off to nursing school in London.

Fast forward a few years and I struggled physically, mentally and emotionally with nursing challenges and perimenopause. A colleague suggested reflexology and I was open-minded enough to try it. It was a great decision and it helped in so many ways.

I did feel less stressed for a while, my brain fog lifted and helped me make a huge decision to leave nursing.

Whilst working in another role, I thought about what I wanted to do next, and my mind went back to my 4 year old self, and the joy of helping others. Reflexology was the closest thing I could think of where I knew I would be able to make a difference.

I qualified in 2019 and set up my business in 2020, despite the covid stresses on running businesses.

I enjoy every day that I get to see my clients and help ease symptoms of pain, swelling, anxiety, depression, insomnia, hormonal imbalances, digestive issues, to name a few.

As a nurse-trained reflexologist I am passionate about helping older adults manage their complex acute and chronic conditions, using my 3 decades of NHS and private sector work.

My nursing background has given me a wide knowledge of conditions and medications which you will be receiving from the conventional NHS or private systems. I use this knowledge to create a complementary therapy treatment unique to your needs.

Why not give reflexology a try to support your clinical treatment?

Over the weekend I saw a fb post about somewhere that I thought would make a nice day out.

When trying to work out where it was, parking, etc the information gave a “what three words” reference.

Weirdly it made me think…..what would my “what three words” be?

At that moment they were hot.tired.lethargic 😆

What would your three words be?

I bet reflexology could help with them! Challenge accepted?
