Parents Inclusion Network Based in Dumfries and Galloway, we provide support to parents and carers of children with a disabilit

The Parents Inclusion Network is a Dumfries and Galloway based charity which was set up in 2006 to bring parents of children with a disability together. It has created a network of families throughout the region who are there for each other. We offer advice, support and a helping hand for anyone who needs it. Your child does not have to be registered disabled to access our support. We run regular

activities for families throughout the school holidays and activities for parents and carers during term time. To have access to these events you need to be a member if PIN, which you can do by simply visiting our website: www.parentsinclusionnetwork.org.uk

We’re currently planning a PIN Family Fun Day in Dumfries this summer and are looking for recommendations for a children’s entertainer and face painter for a reasonable price.

If you know anyone local who’s great with families and events, please tag them below or send us their details — recommendations would be hugely appreciated!

During the school holidays, PIN organises activities for our families. We are currently planning our summer programme and are looking to connect with groups or individuals who could support us by delivering sessions such as bushcraft, nature trails, or any other engaging activities you may be able to offer.
Please email us at [email protected] or send a message through messenger.

We held an information session with Carina Macmillan, which was incredibly helpful and insightful. Carina explained how hypnotherapy can support children, teenagers, and parents who are experiencing stress, low confidence, and anxiety — particularly around school-related challenges.

She highlighted how personalised hypnotherapy sessions can be tailored to each individual’s needs, helping children, young people and families build confidence, manage anxiety, and feel more in control.

Carina will be holding a free online hypnotherapy session for parents on Wednesday at 7.30pm, see below for details. Please visit the link https://www.skool.com/carina-macmillan-hypnotherapy-5850/about

Thank you to Carina for sharing her expertise and giving us a deeper understanding of how hypnotherapy can make a positive difference.
