Normal routine resumes for me! Yeyyyy 🤍 i’m officially back to work properly!

I’ve spent the summer looking after my children, trying to run the clinic as best I could, writing books… you name it. It’s been mega busy 😂

So thank you so much to everyone for your patience 🙏 I know I’ve taken a little longer to reply at times and appointments haven’t always been as available as usual. I’ve genuinely tried my best to juggle everything 🤍

But we’re back to normal now, and I can’t wait to see you all again soon.

Love,
Leanne 🤍

Some days you just need something practical that helps you feel calm and more yourself.

That is what ANSHIN is for.
The Pulse Point Roller is small enough to keep in your bag and use when you feel anxious, overwhelmed, tense or just need a minute to collect yourself.

The Pillow & Room Spray is for home, especially at the end of the day when your head is still busy and you want your bedroom to feel calmer.

Both use the same blend of lavender, cedarwood, lemon verbena and ylang ylang, so the scent stays familiar whether you are using the roller during the day or the spray at night.

I made ANSHIN because I wanted something simple, useful and easy to reach for. Nee fuss, just a familiar scent you can come back to when you need it.

Pulse Point Roller 10ml £12.50
Pillow & Room Spray 100ml £18.50

Kuwait’s decision to restrict Reiki within its new psychotherapy rules has understandably caused a lot of reaction.

But I can actually understand part of the reasoning. The wellbeing industry has become incredibly overcrowded, with new modalities appearing constantly, often accompanied by extraordinary claims and very little research. Vulnerable people deserve proper protection, and practitioners should be accountable for what they claim.

But Reiki deserves to be understood on its own terms.
Usui Reiki is not simply another modern “energy healing modality”. It is a Japanese system with more than a century of history, an established lineage and a growing body of published research.

At its deeper level, Reiki is not something a practitioner owns, manufactures or forces into another person. The practice gradually brings us back to what is already naturally present within us.

That is why the idea of simply “banning Reiki” feels almost impossible to me. Reiki also does not need exaggerated claims, psychic interpretation or promises of miraculous cures to be extraordinary.
I absolutely support higher standards, responsible advertising and better regulation within the wellbeing profession.
But I also believe Reiki should be researched, understood and judged on what Reiki actually is, rather than being placed indiscriminately alongside every practice that has acquired the label “energy healing”.

There is a very important difference between them 🤍

Whats your thoughts on this?

Today I had what probably sounds like a very ordinary job to most people, but for me as an autistic woman it was a big one… school shoe shopping at the Metrocentre!

Busy places can dysregulate me very quickly. The noise, people, lights, trying to make decisions, keeping track of everyone and everything going on around me can send my anxiety through the roof before I’ve even realised it’s happening.

I was genuinely so glad I had ANSHIN in my bag today.
I rolled it onto my wrists, stopped for a moment and just let myself smell it. It didn’t magically change where I was or make the Metrocentre suddenly peaceful 😂 but it gave me a little point of familiarity in the middle of all that stimulation.

A moment to settle myself before carrying on and this is really why I made it, not just for bedtime or meditation, but for real life. For busy shops, appointments, travelling, work, anxious moments, overwhelming days, or just when you need something small and familiar to reach for.

ANSHIN 安心 means Peace of Mind and mine certainly earned its place in my handbag today!

I’ve made something new and this one is for those times when your head feels too busy, you’re feeling anxious or overwhelmed, or you’re lying in bed knowing you need to switch off but your mind has other ideas.

ANSHIN is a 10ml pulse point roller made to be kept close, whether that’s in your handbag, beside your bed, on your desk or wherever you tend to need it most.

It’s a hypnotic blend of cedarwood, lavender, lemon verbena and ylang ylang in jojoba and fractionated coconut oil. It isn’t a sharp or overpowering scent, it’s soft, comforting and really lovely to use when you want to feel calm and less busy in the head.

Roll it onto your wrists during an anxious moment, before bed, before meditation or Reiki practice, while travelling, or just when everything feels a bit much and you want something familiar to bring your attention back to.

The name ANSHIN means peace of mind, reassurance and a sense of ease, which felt exactly right for what I wanted this little roller to be.

It’s now live on the website for £12.50:

Who else is ready for a bit of normality to return? The kids are nearly back, clinic hours are going back to normal, and it’s almost that time of year when the heated bed comes back on 🍂

I’ve also got something new launching on the website tonight, so keep an eye out 👀🌿

And surely I’m not the only one already looking forward to pumpkin spice season? 🎃🍁

If anxiety has started to feel like part of everyday life, it is worth knowing there are other forms of support to explore, and this is what first lead me to Reiki 🙏

Research into Reiki is showing significant reductions in anxiety, with people reporting feeling calmer, more settled and better able to cope in every day life.

Sometimes the next thing you try can make a real difference. If you've not tried Reiki before, here's a taster to enjoy:

Reiki Plus is one of my favourite treatments to offer.

The massage comes first, helping the body to relax and release some of that built up tension, followed by Reiki healing.

It’s a lovely treatment if you feel like you need both the physical benefits of massage and the deeper rest that comes with Reiki.
