I'm taking a little time away to rest and recharge, ready for an exciting autumn ahead.

While I'm on holiday, the Chime & Calm Companion is still here if you're wondering where to begin. It asks a few gentle questions and helps you explore what might feel most supportive for you.

And if you'd simply like a few quiet minutes to yourself, you can also enjoy my free Guided Pause for Calm. Just use the Companion, and you'll be pointed in the direction of the Library.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this evening in spite of slightly iffy weather earlier in the day - the rain held off and it was great to see so many people who clearly love that the Lido is open, supporting this event ❤️

Summer always seems to pass so quickly.

I'm not quite ready to let it go just yet.

In a few days' time I'll be taking a short break before returning in mid September. Many of us create space to rest while we're on holiday. Me included.

The real challenge is finding ways to carry a little of that feeling back into everyday life, isn't it?

Chime & Calm can help with that.

Whether it's joining a Sound Journey once a month, taking a few quiet minutes with the Library, or simply choosing to pause a little more often, those small moments really do matter.

When I return in September, I'm looking forward to another season of Sound Journeys. For now though...

I'm going to enjoy the last few days of summer.

If someone came to mind while you were reading this, perhaps share it with them. Sometimes we all need a gentle reminder that rest doesn't have to end when the holiday does.

It's been lovely to see Sunday's Floating Sound Bath at Stratford Park Lido (Stroud) sell out. Thank you to everyone who's booked – I can't wait to share the evening with you. 💙

If you were hoping to experience a Floating Sound Bath a little sooner, there are still a few places available for tonight's indoor Floating Sound Bath, 8pm at Active Lifestyles Stroud.

It's a different setting, but the same opportunity to float effortlessly on water while being immersed in a live Sound Journey.

And if tonight doesn't work for you, we'll also be returning to the Lido on Thursday 27th August.

Whichever venue you choose, I hope to welcome you to the water soon.

Have you ever floated on a pool while frosted singing bowls played around you? This August, you can — right here at Stratford Park Lido (Stroud).

We're incredibly excited to be hosting two very special Floating Sound Bath evenings, bringing something truly special to our community pool.

A sound bath uses frosted singing bowls to create soothing sounds that help you relax and let go. The floating element takes it to another level entirely — lying on the water, eyes closed, held by sound. It's one of those experiences that stays with you.

🗓️Sunday 23rd August & Thursday 27th August
⏰Arrival from 6:40pm | Safety briefing at 6:50pm | Event starts 7pm | 50 minutes
🎟️Ticket options: 🌊 On-water airbed — £30 🌊 Lilo (poolside or water, you choose on the night) — £25 🧘 Poolside padded mat — £25 🧘 Poolside, bring your own mat — £20

👉What to bring: swimwear under loose comfortable clothing, a warm layer, an eye mask and blanket if you'd like them, and your yoga mat if you've booked a BYO spot. Lockers available inside for valuables, bring a £1 coin.
Ages 18+ only. Not suitable for those in their first trimester of pregnancy or if you have epilepsy. A short client form will be provided on the night for you to complete before it starts.
