💖✨ First Ear Piercing Alert! ✨💖
Today I had the absolute pleasure of piercing these little ears, and what a superstar she was! 🌟

I don't normally pierce children under 5 years old, but after speaking with Mam and Nan, I could see they had done everything right. They had prepared her beforehand, explained exactly what was going to happen, and most importantly, they didn't tell any little white lies about it. 💕

Because she knew what to expect, she came in confident, brave and ready for her special moment.

There were a few nerves (which is completely normal!), but with lots of encouragement, cuddles from her family, and a singalong to Frozen and The Little Mermaid 🧜‍♀️❄️, she absolutely smashed it! Just look at that proud smile! 💖

✨ A quick note about how I pierce ears...

At VIP Piercing, I use a sterile, single-use needle, not a piercing gun.

Why?

✔️ Needles are incredibly sharp and designed to create a clean opening with minimal trauma to the tissue.
✔️ Piercing guns use blunt force to push jewellery through the ear, causing more tissue damage and swelling.
✔️ Most traditional piercing guns cannot be fully sterilised, whereas every needle I use is sterile and disposed of after a single use.
✔️ I use implant-grade jewellery with plenty of room for healing.

I also avoid traditional butterfly-back earrings for fresh piercings where possible because they can:

❌ Trap dirt, skin cells and bacteria behind the ear
❌ Become embedded if swelling occurs
❌ Make cleaning more difficult
❌ Increase irritation during healing

Your child's safety, comfort and healing are always my priority. 🖤

⚠️ A little reminder about appointments and walk-ins ⚠️

Walk-ins are always welcome where possible, but please be aware that appointments will always take priority.

Last week, I unfortunately had to turn away several walk-in customers because my diary was fully booked. However, some appointment slots then ended up unattended without any notice. This meant those walk-in customers missed out on getting their pretties, and as a self-employed business owner, I also lost out on much-needed income.

I completely understand that life happens and sometimes plans change. If you can't make your appointment, please just let me know as soon as possible. Even a quick message is appreciated and gives me the chance to offer that slot to someone else who may be waiting.

As a small business, I rely on appointments being attended, and every missed slot makes a difference. Your communication really helps keep the business running and allows me to help as many of you as possible.
