I just wanted to take a moment to say welcome to our beautiful community. Whether you’ve recently joined us or you’ve been here from the beginning, I’m so happy you’re here.

This is a space where we come together to talk openly about perimenopause, menopause, postmenopause, our changing bodies, our health, our emotions, and everything in between.

My goal is for this community to be a place where you feel:
- Supported
- Heard
- Educated
- Empowered
- Never alone on your journey

Menopause can bring so many changes, questions, and challenges, but it can also be a time of learning, growth, and reconnecting with ourselves.

Thank you for trusting me to be part of your journey. I’m so excited to continue sharing, learning, and growing together.

If you’re new here, drop a ❤️ in the comments and tell us where you’re joining from and what stage of your menopause journey you’re at.

Welcome to the community we’re so glad you’re here!

The conversations we don’t always have: Burning hands, feet and those strange sensations after menopause

This is one I can speak about from personal experience.

Have you ever experienced a strange burning sensation in your hands or feet?

For me, it felt like the palms of my hands and the soles of my feet were on fire.
And then there were the pins and needles.

Those unexpected sensations that make you stop and think:
“What is happening to my body?”

This is another one of those menopause conversations that doesn’t always get talked about.

Many women share experiences of tingling, numbness or unusual sensations during midlife, yet it’s not always something we immediately connect with hormonal changes.

The important reminder:
When your body feels different, pay attention to it.

Don’t dismiss changes that concern you. If symptoms are persistent, worsening, or affecting your daily life, it’s always worth seeking advice from a healthcare professional.
Because our bodies are constantly communicating with us.
And sometimes those little whispers are the ones we need to listen to the most.

The conversations we don’t always have are often the ones that make someone else realise:
“I thought it was just me.”

Have you experienced burning sensations, tingling or pins and needles during perimenopause or menopause?

You Deserve Self-Love

For many of us, self-love is not something we were taught.

We were taught to give, nurture, sacrifice, and keep going.
But there comes a time when we have to turn that same love inward.

Learning to honour yourself, listen to yourself, and choose yourself is not selfish — it’s a reminder that you are worthy too.

This season of life has taught me that self-love is not about becoming someone new; it’s about reconnecting with the woman who has always been there. 💕

The conversations we don’t always have: Dry mouth after menopause

When we talk about menopause, we often talk about hot flushes, sleep changes and mood.

But what about the changes we notice in our mouth?

A dry mouth.
A feeling of needing to sip water more often.
A mouth that just doesn’t feel the same as it used to.

This is another conversation I’ve heard women mention while navigating menopause — yet it’s not always something we think to link with hormonal changes.

Estrogen plays a role in supporting moisture levels throughout the body, and some women notice changes in saliva production during and after menopause.

A dry mouth can feel like a small thing, but it can affect everyday life:
Feeling thirsty more often
Difficulty enjoying certain foods
Changes in taste
Mouth discomfort

Some things that may help support oral comfort include:
Staying hydrated
Regular dental check-ups
Being mindful of products that can dry the mouth further
Speaking to a healthcare professional or dentist if it becomes persistent or troublesome
Because the conversations we don’t always have are often the ones that make someone else realise:
“I thought it was just me.”

Have you noticed changes in your mouth, teeth or oral health during or after menopause?

The conversations we don’t always have: Ringing in the ears after menopause

Have you ever experienced a ringing, buzzing or humming sound in your ears… when there’s no obvious sound around you?

This is another one of those conversations I hear women mention while navigating menopause.

That moment when you think:
“Where is that noise coming from?”

For some women, changes during midlife can coincide with experiencing symptoms such as tinnitus — a sensation of hearing sounds that aren’t coming from an external source.

It can be:
- a ringing sound
- buzzing
- humming
- a high-pitched tone
And for some people, it can feel especially noticeable when things are quiet — like when trying to sleep.

The important reminder:
If you notice changes in your hearing or experience persistent ringing in your ears, it’s worth getting it checked.

Our bodies communicate with us in many different ways, and sometimes those little whispers are the ones we need to listen to. Because the conversations we don’t always have are often the ones that make someone else realise:
“I thought it was just me.”

Have you noticed changes in your hearing or experienced ringing in your ears during midlife?

I’ve heard of money trees. This one is different!

We all navigate this journey differently.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to menopause, and how we choose to move through it is deeply personal and entirely up to us as individuals.

I share my truth, my experiences, and some of the things I’ve learned along the way — not because I have all the answers, but because I believe sharing our stories creates connection, understanding, and support.

Every day brings a new lesson, and one thing this menopause journey has taught me is the importance of listening to my body. Learning its signals, respecting its needs, and trusting the wisdom it carries.

I believe it’s important to walk this journey unapologetically — without guilt, without shame, and without feeling the need to shrink ourselves to make others comfortable.

Menopause will challenge us, change us, and reveal parts of ourselves we may have forgotten.

It is a journey of releasing who we once were while embracing the woman we are becoming.

So wherever you are on this journey, remember: your experience is yours, your voice matters, and you are not walking it aloneđź’•

My morning vibe without guilt.

I don’t know about you, but as I’ve gotten wiser, comfort has become a priority for me.

I no longer have the desire to live life in the fast lane just to keep up with expectations. I’m learning that slowing down, listening to myself, and creating moments that feel good is not something to feel guilty about — it’s something to embrace.

So here I am, as raw as it gets, stepping into my morning vibe and enjoying my first cup of Peppermint & Ginger tea.

No rush. No pressure. No need to be anything other than myself.

This season of life is teaching me that showing up authentically is a form of self-care.

Here’s to embracing who we are, exactly as we are.

Menopause is a journey of change, but it’s also an opportunity to reconnect with yourself in a way you may never have before.

For so many years we’ve been taught to push through, keep going, and put ourselves last. But this season has taught me the importance of listening to my body, honouring my needs, and showing myself the same kindness I would offer to someone I love.

There is no one-size-fits-all menopause journey.

We all experience it differently, but one thing I truly believe is that we deserve to feel supported, informed, and empowered along the way.

Celebrate the small wins. Give yourself grace on the harder days.

Learn your body’s signals and trust that you are the expert of your own journey.

So, my question to you is…
What words of encouragement would you give to another queen navigating menopause?
