🍪👩‍🍳 Baking Fun at Shenstone Court! 👨‍🍳🍪

Yesterday, our residents enjoyed a wonderful baking session here at Shenstone Court, where they rolled up their sleeves and got creative making delicious cookies for our afternoon tea trolley.

From mixing the ingredients to shaping and decorating the cookies, everyone got involved and had a fantastic time. Activities like these are not only enjoyable but also encourage social interaction, creativity, and reminiscence through the familiar joy of baking.

As you can see from the smiles on their faces, our residents truly loved the experience and were very proud of the finished results. The cookies looked amazing and were thoroughly enjoyed as part of our afternoon tea.

Well done to everyone who took part – we can't wait for our next baking session! 🍪💜

🎨🖌️ Arts & Crafts Fun at Shenstone Court 🖌️🎨

Our residents have been getting creative in today's arts and crafts session as we prepare for Father's Day! 💙

Everyone enjoyed making special decorations and personalised creations to help celebrate the occasion. It was wonderful to see so much creativity, laughter, and teamwork as residents shared ideas and brought their designs to life.

Activities like these are a fantastic way to encourage creativity, social interaction, and reminiscence while preparing for special events throughout the year.

We can't wait to display our beautiful Father's Day decorations around the home! 🌟

🌟 Out and About in the Community 🌟

Today, our Customer Relations Manager, Ellen, spent time out in the local community networking and building valuable connections on behalf of Shenstone Court Care Home.

It was a fantastic opportunity to meet so many friendly and welcoming people, share information about the wonderful groups and events we have coming up, and showcase everything our home has to offer. We also enjoyed spreading a little joy by handing out goodie bags along the way! 🎁💜

Being actively involved in our community is incredibly important to us. We are passionate about building relationships, supporting local groups, and creating opportunities for people to come together.

Our residents are getting into the football spirit and ready to cheer on England tonight! 🇬🇧🎉

With their England flags waving proudly, excitement is building here at Shenstone Court as everyone looks forward to the big match. Football always brings back wonderful memories and creates a fantastic atmosphere for residents to come together, share stories, and enjoy the occasion.

🎨✨ Pottery Painting Fun at Shenstone Court ✨🎨

Our residents had a wonderful time during our pottery painting session with Sue. It was fantastic to see everyone getting creative, expressing themselves through art, and enjoying a relaxing and engaging activity together.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and beautiful designs created throughout the session. Activities like these are a great way to encourage creativity, social interaction, and wellbeing, and our residents truly enjoyed every moment.

A huge thank you to Sue for leading such an enjoyable session and helping our residents create their wonderful masterpieces. We can't wait for the next one! 😊

🎉🎂 Happy 101st Birthday, Bobby! 🎂🎉

What a wonderful day of celebrations for our lovely Bobby as she turned an incredible 101 years young yesterday! 💖

Bobby started her special day with a relaxing pamper session and a visit from our hairdresser to make sure she was looking and feeling her very best. She then enjoyed a lovely day out with her family, creating more precious memories together. 🥰

When Bobby returned to Shenstone Court, the celebrations continued with staff and residents coming together to mark this amazing milestone. Bobby received a beautiful gift and enjoyed a truly fantastic birthday cake.

A very special shout-out goes to Cassy our head chef for creating such an amazing cake for Bobby – it looked wonderful and was the perfect centrepiece for the celebration! 🎂👏

We hope you had the most wonderful birthday, Bobby. Thank you for letting us be part of your special day. Here's to 101 amazing years and many more happy memories to come! 💐❤️
