🌟 What a busy and enjoyable few days we’ve had here at Canal Vue! 🌟

Our residents have been out and about on the minibus, enjoying a shopping trip followed by a lovely meal out. Back at the home, we were delighted to welcome Mazie the therapy dog, who brought plenty of smiles and cuddles to everyone.

We’ve also enjoyed a friendly chess match, lots of singing and laughter, pampering sessions with our beautician including manicures and hand massages, and some fantastic chair-based exercise with Karen to keep us active and moving.

To top it all off, we’ve been getting into the football spirit and have decorated the home ready for the World Cup! ⚽🏆

There’s never a dull moment at Canal Vue, and we’re looking forward to making even more wonderful memories together. ❤️😊

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome Trinity Church, who joined us for a lovely service filled with hymns, prayers, and time for reflection. ❤️🙏

We then got moving with a relaxing yoga session before mixing things up with some energetic Vengaboys chair-based exercises – lots of smiles and laughter all around! 🧘‍♀️🎶💃

To finish off a fantastic day, we enjoyed our Happy Hour themed evening! Residents had a wonderful time socialising with a selection of wine, gin, and rum while enjoying the great atmosphere. 🍷🍸🥃

🎤🎶 We had something a little different at Canal Vue today – SINGO BINGO! 🎶🎤

It was an absolute hit with our residents, combining the fun of bingo with the joy of music and singing along to some fantastic tunes. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and great memories shared throughout the session.

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and it’s safe to say that SINGO BINGO will definitely be making a return! ❤️🎵 Springcare

🐾 Mazie the therapy dog came for a wonderful visit yesterday– and oh my goodness, what a joy she was! 🐶💛

She trotted in with her tail wagging non-stop, bringing so much warmth, calm and pure happiness everywhere she went. Everyone lit up the second they saw her – she stopped for endless cuddles, gentle strokes and plenty of fuss, melting hearts left, right and centre. There’s just something so special about her soft fur, kind eyes and calm, friendly nature; she instantly lifted moods, brought big smiles and made the whole place feel brighter and happier. Pure, perfect comfort in every single wag! 🥰
