The Medpac Story

The idea for Medpac was born from a personal need! When my daughter was diagnosed with a condition that required her to carry medicine with her at all times, I was suddenly faced with the challenge of what to put it in. As well as needing to carry it with us at all times, the school needed two sets with photo ID and a treatment plan. After using an old make-up bag that I embarrassingly handed over at parties and clubs, I soon began to realise I was not alone and so I designed Medpac. To suit the many uses that I could identify for Medpac it had to be:

Easy to find in the bottom of a bag/classroom/sports club etc
Easy to identify who the medicine belonged to in an emergency
Durable and hardwearing
Affordable

Medpac was born - The sturdy, secure and lightweight pack allows you to carry your medication with you at all times. The bright orange colour makes the Medpac easy to find in a bag and the Medpac ID Card allows the Medpac to be easily identified to the owner who may be unable to do so themselves in an emergency situation. The Medpac Treatment Card stored inside gives you the opportunity to add all vital information and a care plan therefore aiding the medicine being administered as quickly as possible. The Medpac Wristband further helps to easily identify the wearer as someone who needs access to emergency medicine. Ideal for asthma inhalers, adrenaline auto-injectors, diabetic medicine, epilepsy medicine, antibiotics, allergy medicines and antihistamines, tablets and lots more...

I truly believe Medpac has achieved these objectives and will offer you a solution for your medicine storing requirements and ensure that you always have it to hand.

Advocating for yourself isn't always easy.

It can feel uncomfortable explaining your condition to new people, starting the conversation can feel like a mountain, and then you may be left worrying about being treated differently, or people thinking that you're asking for too much. You're not!

It's so important that you look after yourself, and that includes ensuring that the people around you understand what you need, before you need it.

You don't need to explain everything to everyone. You don't need to apologise for needing support, and you definitely shouldn't feel embarrassed about keeping yourself safe, because your health is worth speaking up for 🧡

Temperature may not be the first thing you consider when thinking about medication, but it can play a vital role in the stability of your meds.

Some medications cannot withstand excessive heat, needing to remain refridgerated to avoid the ingredient breaking down and altering the effectiveness, or its ability to be absorbed by the body.

Medpac's insulated lining is designed to help regulate the temperature inside the bag, provind a layer of protection when you need to carry your medication throughout the day.

School might finish at 3:15, but for many children, the days isn't over yet! 🩰⚽️

Football practice, dance classes, swimming, Scouts, music lessons, and all the otehr activites that keeps your child busy can mean that medication need to travel beyond the classroom.

Before a new club or activity starts, make sure the person responsible for your child knows about their medical conditions, understands what support they may need, and know where their medication is kept.

Medpac keeps medication together, and clearly identifiable, so there's no confusion about where medication is when it's needed.
