Call for Contributions: Speech Apraxia International
Speech Apraxia International is inviting Speech and Language Therapists, researchers, educators, organisations, and service providers from around the world to contribute to our growing international community focused on the full spectrum of speech apraxia.
Our work encompasses:
• Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS)
• Acquired Apraxia of Speech in adults following stroke, brain injury, or neurological disease
• Primary Progressive Apraxia of Speech (PPAOS)
• Developmental verbal dyspraxia and related motor speech disorders
• Associated communication, literacy, and phonological awareness difficulties
Our mission is to increase awareness, promote evidence-based practice, support professional learning, encourage international collaboration, and improve outcomes for individuals with speech apraxia across the lifespan.
We are keen to showcase:
• Professional development courses and training programmes
• Books, publications, and educational resources
• Assessment and intervention materials
• Research projects and findings
• Family and caregiver support resources
• Innovative clinical programmes and service models
• Multidisciplinary and educational initiatives
As an international organisation, we receive enquiries from clinicians, researchers, families, and organisations worldwide. We are always interested in learning about high-quality resources, services, and projects that align with our commitment to advancing knowledge and supporting the speech apraxia community globally.
