God, Who is outside of time, Who dwells in eternity, stepped into time to save us. He stepped into time to die on a cross for us so we won't have to. He did that for all of us all at once. Then, as each of us accepts this gift, He then steps into our past and changes it. He wipes out every bad thing we did and makes it as though it never happened. And He does this for everyone that says, "Yes." to Him.
Isa 1:18 "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are as scarlet, They will be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They will be like wool. (NASB)

My life before I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, never happened in the eyes of God our Papa. Because He stepped into time, into my past and erased all the bad I did. He rewrote my past. He does that for all that says, "Yes, I believe" to Him.
Why do we try to remember something that God wiped from existence and doesn't remember? Why?
We must train our minds to think like Papa does. He doesn't remember our past, why do we?
There is no reason to dwell on a past that has never happened in God's eyes.
Isa 43:18,19 "Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past.
"Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.

Isa 43:18,19 Forget the former things, forget about what happened previously; do not dwell on the past, don't give it a second thought.
See, I am doing a new thing, something fresh and exciting! Now it springs up, and come upon you quickly; do you not perceive it, can't you see it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland, it's like magic.

If we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, then we ARE new creations.
Our old self is gone. Everything is brand new. The person we were, the person we used to be no longer exists.
Since Papa stepped out of eternity and into our past and changed it, why do we want remember it and hang on to it? It's a false memory. Papa wiped it from existance. It never happened in the eyes of Papa. We are remembering a lie.
Papa has made us brand new never before existed creations. As new creations, we have no past. That's how He will get us into heaven.
Don't hold on to a false past.
