There’s a story behind Massage Studio that I haven’t shared much before.
Before the clinic, before the clients and before all the training, there was me trying to understand my own body after pregnancy, surgery, loss and trauma.
My first pregnancy was ectopic. I needed major surgery and lost a fallopian tube. Later came further loss, procedures, motherhood, recovery and more scar tissue.
For a while, I put my practice on hold while I focused on creating my family.
But I never stopped learning.
I explored yoga, strength training, pelvic floor work, gut health and scar tissue treatment — all things that helped me reconnect with my own body and understand just how much healing can be happening beneath the surface.
Those experiences changed the way I work today.
They taught me that healing doesn’t always mean pushing forward.
Sometimes it means slowing down.
Sometimes it means listening.
Sometimes it means giving the body time to feel safe again.
And that is a huge part of what I want Massage Studio to offer.
A calm, supportive space where you can come as you are, without pressure, and reconnect with your body at your own pace.
This is the woman behind Massage Studio.
