Is therapy only for people who are struggling? Bristol team breaks it down.
It's one of the most common things we hear that you have to be at breaking point, or in the middle of a crisis, before therapy is somehow "allowed."
But most of the people we work with aren't in crisis at all. They're navigating something - a change, a decision, a feeling they can't quite put into words and they'd like to feel more like themselves again.
You don't need to be struggling to come to therapy, in the same way you don't need to be ill to go to the gym. It can be a place to think out loud, to make sense of what's going on, or to move towards something that matters to you.
There's no bar to reach first, and no such thing as the "right time." Whenever you're ready, we're here in Bristol and online.
