** Village Day Centres are Recruiting: Part-Time Cook**
Village Day Centres is looking for a kind, caring and enthusiastic cook to join the team at our Lichfield Day Centre.
You will prepare nutritious, enjoyable meals for approximately 20 people each day, Monday to Friday, while helping to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for our clients.
**Key responsibilities include:**
* Planning varied and nutritious weekly menus
* Ordering and purchasing food and kitchen supplies
* Preparing and serving meals
* Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
* Achieving or holding a recognised Food Hygiene Certificate
* Encouraging clients who wish to take part in suitable kitchen activities, helping them maintain their skills, confidence and independence
We are looking for someone who enjoys cooking, cares about others and would like to make a positive difference within the local community.
This part-time position may be particularly suitable for someone seeking flexible hours or a rewarding role where they can share their cooking skills and give something back.
Hours will be agreed with the successful candidate, although flexibility between 9.00am and 5.00pm is essential.
**Salary is negotiable for the right candidate.**
