Sometimes I forget that not everyone who follows this page knows the story behind Joseph Tutors.
So I thought I would share a little of the story behind this page and the heart behind everything I do.
I'm Tanya, the founder of Joseph Tutors.
I am a qualified teacher with 18 years of experience in education.
Joseph Tutors is about much more than teaching English.
I started this business in the depths of my grief after losing my mum.
At one of the most difficult times in my life, I made a conscious decision to turn my pain into purpose.
Joseph Tutors was created in honour of both of my parents and the values they lived by: kindness, hard work, generosity, believing in people and serving others.
Their love, encouragement and unwavering belief in me helped shape who I am today and I hope that same belief shines through in every lesson, club, resource and post that I create.
At its heart, Joseph Tutors is built on a simple belief:
When children feel supported, encouraged and understood, they are capable of amazing things.
I believe in a confidence-first approach because when children believe in themselves, everything changes.
