Say goodbye shaving, waxing, tweezing and hair removal creams have been replaced by hair removal in a flash. The PANELE Laser Treatments uses short, safe bursts of light emitted from a flash-lamp to remove unwanted hair from all body sites in minutes. During the treatment the light that comes through the hand piece will be attracted to the pigment (the colour) in your hair. This will cause a heat reaction in the hair and the heat will travel down to the base of the hair. By damaging the base this will inhibit the hairs ability to grow. After the treatment you will leave with hair in the follicles however the hair will fall out within a 1-3 week period after the treatment. To encourage the hairs to shed you can either shave or exfoliate the skin. You will return for your future treatments every 4-8 weeks or as and when the hair returns. Tolerance of pain is very individual from person to person. Acne is caused by the body's increased production of the hormone androgen (produced by both men and women), which stimulates the sebaceous glands to produce more oil. The increased production of oil causes the pores to become blocked, so that the oil cannot come up to the skin surface. The acne itself is an infection caused by skin bacteria that feed on and break down this oil. How does Ellipse treatment work? The Ellipse operator guides the light from the flash-lamp to the treatment area. The unique Ellipse I2PL system carefully filters this light in two ways to ensure that only light with the correct characteristics (wavelengths) is allowed to reach your skin. The light that is allowed through is absorbed by haemoglobin, which is the red pigment in blood. The light from the flash-lamp heats up the haemoglobin in the fine blood vessels that supply the sebaceous glands. This causes a minor injury to the sebaceous glands and slows down the overproduction of oil that leads to acne. Thread Vein Treatment
A thread vein is a small blood vessel near the surface of the skin. The Ellipse operator guides the visible light from the flash-lamp to the blood vessels needing treatment. Blood contains haemoglobin that absorbs the light and converts it into heat. This heat destroys the protein in the wall of the thread vein.
