Led by Dr Rebecca Arnold, this supportive online workshop is designed for parents and carers of primary school children (approximately ages 5–11).
The session will explore how anxiety can affect children’s thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and bodies, how to recognise common triggers and patterns of anxious thinking, and how to respond with greater awareness, compassion, and confidence.
This free workshop offers a calm and practical space to better understand childhood anxiety and learn simple, evidence-informed strategies to support emotional wellbeing at home and school.
You will:

• Recognise common triggers and unhelpful thought patterns
• Explore practical, child-friendly tools to manage worries and build resilience
• Gain confidence in supporting children to feel calmer, safer, and more grounded
• Build emotional awareness, resilience, and self-compassion together
