There are many different types of stoma and each one can be created for a multitude of different reasons.⁣
⁣
The image above gives you a look at just how varied stomas can be, from those involving the bowel and bladder to stomas that support feeding or breathing. We often hear the word ‘stoma’ and immediately think of an ileostomy or colostomy, but there is so much more to understand.⁣
⁣
I’m interested to know, which of these have you got, or which ones had you already heard of? I personally live with an ileostomy, but I’d love to hear your experiences in the comments.

Unfortunately, due to my sewing room being a loft room, and due to the spectacular lack of planning on my part (aka not learning my lesson last year) my room is already 32 degrees and rising so I won't be sewing again until Saturday.

I'm away Wednesday to Saturday next week, 15th - 18th July, (for the first time in 6 years!) but will of course make any orders ASAP. I will email anyone who orders around the next two weeks to give an idea of turnaround time. It will only be a few days delay in both instances but you know I like to get things made ASAP so please do check spam if you've ordered and not heard from me!
