We are Charity Tuesday partners for July!

Hot-desk at the Vulcan Works’ brilliant office spaces on any Tuesday in July – Rather than paying for your workspace you can make a donation to their chosen charity, which in July, is us!

Congratulations to ‘A Peach and 4 Plums’ who came out on top after a tense tie-breaker question at our Quiz Night.

17 teams competed for quizzing glory, raising over £800 for NAB in the process. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and especially to our amazing volunteers who gave up their evenings to help us all have such a fun night!

We could not have hoped for a better venue than The Swan at Lamport. The team were incredibly helpful and made sure this fundraising event was a success.

That’s a wrap on Volunteers Week!

We’ve spent the week celebrating with some of the many selfless people who give their time and energy to NAB. Without their help we simply could not provide the support, or run the events and services that we do.

At our volunteer celebration events, we had lunch and teamed up for a fun quiz as a small token of our gratitude. We were also thrilled to present Talking News volunteer, Alan, with his 5 years of service award.

We were excited to attend the Northampton Volunteer Fair at Weston Favell Shopping Centre hosted by NLive Radio, as well as the volunteering event at the Kettering Job Centre. Both proved to be great opportunities to share how volunteering can change lives for people the visually impaired person, and the volunteer!

We meet on the Second Tuesday of every month at the Queen Of Hearts pub, NN11 0XY. We are always happy to welcome new members, whether you have recently lost your sight or have been visually impaired for years.
