Have you heard of the Orange Button Scheme? 🟠

Launching today in Northamptonshire, an orange button will symbolise that the wearer has received su***de prevention training. They can listen, reassure and signpost to relevant services for anyone in need.

We are proud to share that our Community Team Manager, Laura, is an orange button holder and we have other members of the team joining her very soon.

Silverstone CARFEST 2026 - Here We Come!

We’re excited to announce we will be attending CARFEST for the first time at the end of this month! Find us at the SPAFEST area to take part in some unique activities such as…

Compete to be top of the leader-board at our Time Trial Challenge! Wear a pair of ‘simulation spectacles’ which impair your vision, before going for your fastest lap around our brand new model race track, kindly donated by Scalextric. We’ll have a leader-board to track your progress and a prize for the fastest time each day!

Make a memorable keepsake from your CARFEST experience. We have a friendship bracelet station to make your accessory in your own style. These are extra special beads, as the letters are written in braille for anyone to read regardless of sight!
And of course – if you have a question about sight loss or simply want to learn more about our charity and how we might help you or a loved one, we would love to talk to you at the event.

We can’t wait to be part of this exciting weekend and we hope to meet some of you there!

Tunnel Trek is back… With a twist!

You can now partner up and take on the 7km sponsored walk BLINDFOLDED. One of you will guide the other for the first 3.5 km before swapping at the turn and being guided back to the finish. This event has always been about raising awareness and gaining insight into visual impairment and we hope this extra layer to the challenge will do just that!

Don’t want to use the blindfold? No worries! You can still sign up and trek as normal with the same chat, community spirt and halfway cake break as before.

Here’s the full details:
• Saturday 17th October from 9:30am
• 7km sponsored trek (Blindfold and Guiding Challenge Optional).
• Walk along the Brampton Valley Way and through the dark Kelmarsh Tunnel.
• Help support visually impaired people in Northamptonshire.
• £5 Registration Fee.
• Receive a FREE GIFT if you fundraise £30 or more for NAB.
