We’ve seen a few conversations lately about independent businesses using AI, so we wanted to share our thoughts. 💚
Running a small independent business often means working with limited time, limited funds and wearing a lot of different hats!
Like many small businesses, we use the technology available to us to help us work more efficiently, save time and keep costs manageable — and AI is simply one of those tools.
It doesn’t replace the heart, creativity, care or hard work that goes into our business every day. ❤️
We’re also incredibly proud to support other local businesses, makers and artists in lots of different ways, including stocking and selling their products.
We currently stock work and products from:

🌿 Charm Eden — natural balms and candles.
💌 Charmaine’s Cards & Crafts — handmade cards, gifts and personalised creations.
Supporting local isn’t just about what technology a business chooses to use. It’s about supporting one another, stocking local products, recommending other independents, sharing their work and helping keep money within our local community.
We’ll continue to use the tools available to help our little business thrive, while continuing to support other independent businesses, artists and makers wherever we can.
