A lot of our regulars started the same way.

Someone bought them a gift voucher.

Not because they wanted more stuff.

Because they needed a break.

A float. Some time in the Fire & Ice room. An hour where the phone isn't ringing and nobody wants anything from them.

A surprising number of people who now visit us regularly first came through the door with a voucher in their hand.

Most people who visit us leave saying they need to make it a regular thing. Then they book one session at a time, and "regular" never quite happens.
Buying in bulk isn't about saving money — though you do, significantly. It's about making one good decision now, so you don't have to make it again every time you need to switch off.
Ten floats for £399 — £39.90 a session, valid 12 months. Compare that to £69 a time booked individually.
Ten hyperbaric sessions for £475. £47.50 each. Same story.

Six and a half years old today.

Not quite a round number. Not quite a headline. Just a Tuesday in June where we looked at each other and thought — we’re still doing this, and we still love it.

Thank you to everyone who’s walked through the door, floated in the dark, sat in the sauna, climbed into the pod, or just trusted us with an hour of your day.

They're back.
House martins have made their nests on the outside wall of our building again this year. Six families. They fly here all the way from sub-Saharan Africa. Every spring, they find their way back to our Wellness centre here in Myddle.
We noticed them a few weeks ago. By this morning the nests looked like this.
We're taking it as a compliment.

I’m in the infrared sauna while one of our clients uses the hyperbaric chamber to prep for a marathon this weekend. Safety rules mean I can’t leave site, so here we are.

The Car Park Chronicles. Episode 5.
We’ve had the all-white line-up.
We’ve had the full Skittles.
Today the car park has gone fully monochrome.
White.
Grey.
Black.
Grey.
Black.
Nobody plans this. It just happens here.
Meanwhile, inside, five people are floating in silence, completely horizontal, and blissfully unaware the car park has entered its villain era.
Which, to be fair, is exactly the point.
