When your client runs out of pads and you suddenly remember you’ve got enough supplies in your garage to stock a small care home! 🤣🙈

🚗 Normal people have shopping in their car… carers have continence supplies! 😂

🏠 Garage? Basically a mini warehouse.
🛒 Shopping list? Pads, wipes and gloves.
🧠 Memory? Remembers every client’s needs but forgets what they went into the supermarket for! 🤣

The things we do to make sure our clients are never without what they need! 💜

📚✨ Maybe I’m old school, but I still love collecting my certificates! 📝💪

I like to keep my certificates safe, organised and close to hand. For me, it’s not just about having a piece of paper; it’s about having something to show for the learning, effort and commitment I’ve put into my role within the care sector. 💜

I strongly believe that learning never stops, especially in care. It’s so important to keep up with training, refresh our knowledge and make sure our skills are up to date so we can continue providing the best possible care and support to the people who rely on us. 🤝💜

So, as we speak, I’m busy updating my training and keeping my knowledge fresh! 📖✅

Old school ways, but a modern commitment to learning, improving and delivering quality care. Because in the care sector, we should never stop learning! 🌟

🍷💜 Come Do the Basics With Me! 🏡✨

Come and join me for my little lunchtime catch-ups, where we keep things nice, chilled and real. 💜

We’ll be preparing a lovely lunch, enjoying a relaxed chat, and getting those everyday basics done together. 🥗🧺

From putting the washing on and folding clothes to keeping the home clean and tidy, preparing meals and helping with those basic daily tasks that someone may struggle to manage on their own. 💜

Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference — a helping hand, a friendly face, a prepared meal, or simply making someone feel comfortable and cared for in their own home. 🏡💜

So come and join me as we take care of the everyday essentials, one task at a time, with kindness, patience and a lovely chilled atmosphere. 🥰

💜 Promoting independence while providing the right support 💜

At K&M BellaCare, we believe that everyone deserves to maintain their independence, dignity and comfort in their own home for as long as possible. 🏡

For some of our clients, this means using specialist equipment such as a hoist to support safe transfers and help them get comfortably into their chair, ready to enjoy their day. 🪑✨

We understand that everyone’s care needs are different, which is why we attend as a double-up team of two carers for clients who require assistance from two people. This allows us to provide the appropriate support, work together safely and ensure each individual receives the care and attention they deserve. 💜

It’s not about taking independence away — it’s about supporting people to live their lives with confidence, knowing that the right help is there when they need it.

Just got home from work, opened up my emails, and what do I find? A fantastic review! 🥰💜Honestly, it makes all the hard work worth it!

🌴☀️ Thailand to the British cold… welcome home! 🇹🇭😂

After my client enjoying a lovely holiday in Thailand, it’s back home and straight back to normality! 🏡💜

First things first… a proper café breakfast to get the day started ☕️🍳 because holiday calories don’t count, do they? 😂 Then it was off to the shops to stock up on all the essentials 🛒🛍️

From the sunshine and warmth of Thailand to the lovely British weather 🥶🌧️… I think we all know which one we’d rather be in! 😂

But there’s no place like home, and it’s lovely to be back into the swing of things, enjoying a good breakfast, a little shopping trip and getting back to everyday life. 💜

but now it’s time to dig out the winter coat! 🧥😂🇬🇧

One of the girls has just been doing a call with one of our clients when she suddenly found a robin flying around the kitchen! 🐦😂

God knows how it got in, or where it thought it was going… but it certainly gave our carer a little surprise! 😂

It’s never a dull day in care! 💜
Every day is different, and you honestly never know what you’re going to walk into! 😂

🎉🌸 HAPPY 103rd BIRTHDAY! 🌸🎉

Today we’re celebrating a truly incredible lady who has reached the amazing age of 103! 🥳🎂

And what’s her secret? Well… she certainly doesn’t act like someone who’s 103! 😍 She’s still busy washing up, doing things for herself, and — because apparently she hasn’t got enough to keep her busy — she’s even cutting her own flowers and arranging them beautifully in her vases! 💐😂

At 103, she’s clearly decided that sitting around doing nothing is simply not on the agenda! 👏💜

She is an absolute inspiration, full of independence, character and a wonderful spirit. We feel incredibly lucky to know her and to be able to celebrate this very special milestone with her. 💜

So, from all of us, HAPPY 103rd BIRTHDAY! 🎂🎈🥂

Looking back at old times 💜

There’s something very special about sitting quietly and looking through old photographs. Each picture holds a memory, a story, and a little piece of a life that has passed but will never truly be forgotten.

The faces may have changed, the years may have gone by, and so much may be different now — but the memories remain. The laughter, the love, the adventures, the people we shared them with… all tucked away in photographs and in our hearts.

Sometimes looking back reminds us just how many wonderful moments we’ve been lucky enough to live. And although we can’t turn the clock back, we can treasure those memories and pass the stories on to the generations that follow.

Old photographs aren’t just pictures — they’re pieces of our history, keeping yesterday alive in our hearts. 💜📸

Today I was asked to take the picture down from the wall! 😊

Sometimes care isn’t about getting things done or following a routine. Sometimes it’s simply about being in the moment with them — listening to their stories, looking at old photographs, remembering times gone by, and sharing a little piece of their world.

It might seem like a small thing, but these moments can mean so much. 💜

Sometimes, care is simply being there. 🥰

Supporting someone with dementia is about so much more than providing care—it’s about helping them continue to enjoy the moments that matter.

Today, we accompanied one of our wonderful clients on a trip to Sainsbury’s to do their local shopping. With a little extra support, reassurance, and plenty of patience, they were able to choose their own groceries, stay connected to their community, and enjoy a meaningful outing.

These everyday experiences help promote independence, confidence, and wellbeing while creating opportunities for conversation, familiar routines, and happy memories.

At the heart of great care is enabling people to live life their way, with dignity, choice, and compassionate support every step of the way. 💜
